The only one that I have successfully downloaded and started playing, so far, is Farland Symphony.. which is far less advanced than Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactics Ogre, but in the same genre. It's kind of weird to be controlling a TRPG with a mouse. Anyway, I went to the homepage of the group that translated FS and found that other game y'all were going on about: Melty Blood. It looks pretty, but I don't really care for fighters.

I finally finished downloading and installing Gadget Trial.. which involved finding my XP installation disk and installing the files that allow Japanese text in menus.. and, I have to say that that game is awesome. It's like Advance Wars.. except its Mecha Musume. It even has some very familiar Japanese voice actors and the MM models look a lot like the Sugoi Girls. So far, I've seen units that look like: Toybox Girl, Erisa Rot, Ion, Lala, and Su Chan.. and I'm only on stage 2. This game rules.. and it's theme song kicks ass, too!
I can't stop listening to this song.. It's so god damned cute and infectiously catchy..
It's refreshing to take a break and play some real Japanese games. They're like: story story game explosions story story, while American games are like: story game explosions explosions explosions explosions. I swear they have to be putting something into our food supply to lower the IQ's of most Americans. Why can't we produce and sell well written games like these over here?

I found it long ago on Eroge Download, read the vndb entry and lost the interest when I saw the "No Sexual Content" tag.
Your review sounds good, I enjoyed Advanced Wars, I'll give Gadget Trial a try.

idk, I just upgraded tanks and planes then bomb the living shit out of everything in that game. Once you unlock the outfits it makes things easier

LoLed a bit with a friend, liked the ideas of a game encouraging players to stop using the same character/build over and over, and EZ mode champions being very punishing for bad play (Snowball effect).
HoTSed aswell, gotta say Vipers + Infestors are so giving me nightmares.
Planning to go back Elsword when I get a new desktop (which is gonna have same or slightly better specs as old one). Surely not looking forward its PvP with every single tough guy SS ranking their way with WotS and Core spam...
