In matches it's always 100%~98ish

mine is running CB at 60~80% ALONE without other programs/games and the memory usage reach 1GB

still doesn't change the fact that CB takes 3 times as much processing power to run than a game 7 times its size

my CPU usage ussually on 40~60% on AMD x2, with poor frame rate.
it seems CB refused to fully use all core, on i5 (4 core) and it only take 20%~30% with better framerate but still have drop frame here and there

Filesize doesn't really affect CPU usage that much. It's mostly about how many calculations and shit the program needs to do.
But still, this game is programmed like ass and has such CPU usage due to it.

oh nvm, I noticed you are using XP instead of 7, so 1GB should be ok

CB was running when I got that, so a few things might not be as they should, like the resolution.

Can't run full 15vs15 at a decent frame rate, which is the bare minimum that you should be able to run, so, 2.4GHz isn't enough to run CB anymore (it used to).

I want to see how the quad-core perform at 2.3GHz with turbo-boost turned off.
Since we already established quad-core with 2.0GHz lag spikes

The game runs fairly well on my current settings...but can give FPS issues when a lot starts happening at short range, especially if it involves alpha-strikers or melee-happy bots...lag doesn't happen all that often, but this modem isn't aging well, so I can't say how long that'll be the case....
