if your air target is close enough... the beam edge will guide you to them. Upward / diagonal towards them. Great way to get on ledges. I just jump up then slice away, try again while maintaining firepower on them

This sounds great if your melee weapons had rockets attached to them...
I just don't see myself potentially being bait for any wandering airs out there,
Or even the air you're aiming for.

Couldn't you replace the bazooka with a shotgun or any other effective weapons?

imma say better stay bazzoka, except you got Shotgun Mod or something doing AOE dmg better than normal shotguns... killing air easily using zokas, while finishing ART and LND with that beam edge isnt that hard i think

it works against Baltheons.... the Edge Combo, though down side is i go slashing down with Kage Ouraikiri.

Though there was a certain time when i was beam edging, i slashed a rocket/missile going at me... not doing any damage at me.... Zero (Megaman Series) Much?
I wonder if it works for other bullets... gonna be a hard test but i got the entire day ^-^

Latest damage on Ivis with Beam Edge is 60. Yes. 60.

you can parry most explosive (missiles, rocket, bazzoka, grenade) with another explosive or melle weapon that have long reach (not Beam weapon sadly). just if with melle weapon, it have chance to be broken due the parry. (except tune Eternal)

due your weapon are pretty long reach , you can parry several explosive projectile with yours... just i dont recommended you do this for grenade, missiles and cruise missiles ... due they have wide explosion ... parry it with bazzoka or another explosive still more safer...

about bullet ,dont try parry that, wont work, your weapon which one gonna broke instead (except you put eternal, but still they hit you and give dmg)

Running head on into a barrage of bazooka projectiles is not really the smartest thing to do
While thinking you'll be safe with you tiny machine gun...
It would be better off if you strafed diagonally while moving forward.
