Anti-lag system

Welp. Did further testing. I can play at off-peak hours. There's the occasional teleport, but I can actually put up a fight, so long as I play during late night.

Hmmm...


Guess I won't be affected.

Testing complete from here(Chattanooga TN; tested to CA); average ping 75ms, performance on my end unchanged, but only saw 1 mentionable instance of lag warping...Jikuns have effectively been neutered by this update, and you won't see ME complaining!

No instances of lag-warp meleeing worth mentioning from about 2 hours of play....

I laughed when I saw Fanservice kicking someone on my right, I ran to the left, and then suddenly he's kicking on my left while his Kuten never finished the kicking animation on the guy on my right so he could do the warping attack.
He teleported in the middle of a combo. XDDDD (I had less than 40hp I think, so the first kick killed me right away. And what made it funny is that what killed me was a kick, not the warping attack.)

When they raised it no more problems though

got the ping on 226ms and jitter on 1ms, hope its good enough...

i kinda a person who sometimes download when chating / idling / whatever with friends in ground area especially when random fansub release my weekly loli dosage

I should agree on this, Arena only PLS, maybe quests, but mostly arena only . I have the same case as nymph

While I rarely, if ever stream/download anything while playing(except my favorite internet radio station), I could agree with this as well...if they could pull it off, that is....

<< I have cheapest internet under AT&T and download at 80/kb a second(slow as ****). Some ISPs outside the US have pretty bad lines if their lines if their pings are over 300 O_o.

This Anti-Lag system sucks...

IMO, it doesn't , it certainly doing its job for me. I can hit something now with my vector raid

Well, as far as I can tell, and while trying to remain as impartial as possible(and those of you who know me will hopefully vouch for my honesty), it looks like Support bots have received a huge boost from this update, proverbially speaking, and Arts will benefit, too....

If the update sticks, the era of Jikuns is all but over and Kutens will be hard-pressed to pick up the slack...also getting reports that even AG has suddenly become much more vulnerable, though I won't believe this one until I see it myself...expect a lot of weapons that had fallen out of favor to make a comeback very soon!

increase number of vesca and talantulic is a bit annoying for beetlander, need to look out for them before launch my attack now...


PS: might be me only, but after update i rarely see any indo for revenge and other famous laggers...o.o

I just saw thehode he was still lag warping all over the place

LoL, I saw that too. Kinda hard to hit if the guy vanished but was still on the mini map. So annoying.

Get the Familia one, but its a shared inet, since it cost quite high Q_Q

Welp my ping dropped from 900+ down to about 200ms.



I dunno how other Aussie providers do it, but I know Optus gets major throttling issues after 6pm so I guess I can only play before that. I might try testing again later though.


LXE, I suggest you try finding out when your ISP gets the most traffic and find a time outside of it? Kinda inconvenient since I finish uni at 6pm but Epoch at 900+ ping is unbearable.

Also for those unable to test packet loss, update yo' Java and let it run the plugin.

So I actually tried playing and I'm lagging like a mofo even at under 190ms.

Oh well, at least I can go study more I guess

Weird, my connection is statistically worse compared to centralheating or LXE, yet I've never had issues with lag before, epochs included(at any time of the day, apart from 2am-10am because I'm asleep then). Was fine too when the anti-lag threshold was set at 300ms before it was raised to 500ms.
