gotta realise some people find arena farming and arcantus farming boring. and i got a few people who just log in to the game, open their cube, and log out, his bots are so underpowered against everybody else he doesn't even have an incentive to level up further, though he recently got two accel sabers from lotto cubes. and I've convinced him should turn them into hoppers because thats what they do. now if only he'd log in and actually level up the things...

I would suspect its getting pretty close to that number.

As long as they make a profit, they = happy.
And if they make a profit with less people on, then even better.
Less need to control servers and waste more money.

All they need is 1 bot/weapon that people want worthwhile in a garapon to get them to roll for it
However, with less people on, the less higher spending players will spend
Thus, the next desperation attempt to attract more uc players

I don't really want to say their management is bad, but with that mindset you can't keep alive a business in the long term, especially when people is constantly in search of new content and sometimes challenge. Players eventually get bored of doing the same things over and over again. Also, you can't attract more people when your servers are a ghost town.

Don't you realize that you don't have to do this? CBEN is slowly dying in terms of population.

A couple of months ago, during the usual times I play, I can still see the population reach up to 700. Nowadays at my usual times it's down to around 500, barely passing the 600 mark if it did.

It seems that they have a lot of unique users (i.e. new players logging on) but the number of returning users is low. Low retention rate is low, which is probably why they kept the lotto cube promo going.

On a side note, I wonder what the HKCB players' impressions of CBEN are.

BTW I read a few posts and... why are people blaming Tempura or the GM team? They're just game masters i.e. Customer Support + Moderating Team + Community Management (limited), not the devs or the bigwigs.
