just got this dog, need help for build (especially carts)

34 str, light blue boost run, 35 tgh, stun regain:

32 str, light blue boost run, 40 tgh, stun regain:

30 str, 26 wlk no boost run, 40 tgh, quick land, sword guard, stun regain:

So what do you want to do with it? Run and gun? Melee? Hopping? Alpha Striking? Alphag Hopping?

Anyway, ditch stun regain, get another capa cart, 40 tgh.

No need for Boost Run, once you are in there hop-spinning, you are gonna be hop-spinning forever, in which case, Quick Land would be a lot more helpful.

This might work, considering the input that I've been given
- 40TGH or GTFO
- No boost run, just Quick Land

why need quick land anyway? since I jump and flip in mid-air scratch

and I keep stun regain because probably it will help survive longer Smile

Eh, because it reduces the landing recovery time from air spin ie. Less down time?

Again, you don't need Boost Run, it is of no use to a hatemachine whatsoever unless you are gonna hit 'n run with it, in which case, you are not playing hatemachine right.

Letting you figure out the rest, since apparently following bad builds is easier than following good builds.

That last build is fine if you just swap boost run for quick land, really.

I'ma stick with the majority and say quick land. If you're gonna be spamming hate machine tail spin, you're going to need it because on the downtime that you're on the ground, I will be smacking you in the ass where you are vulnerable. You're not gonna last long without it.

Stun regain is good, regardless of TGH. It'll help especially when TGH reduction has not kicked in significantly enough for you to reduce damage to keep staying in a lot of people's faces worthwhile.

Personally, my cart choices here would be 6x cap, short boost+quick land, stun regain. Blast guard helps little unless vs blast bazookas (few because many would rather carry baz/large baz/titan/insert rt baz here) because most of them have 40-60% shell component. In fact for this guy, if you had to take a guard cart, I'd rather take melee because someone will catch you EVENTUALLY and with all the spikers running around...they will hurt more considering most projectile weapons will be dealing little to you considering your 40 TGH reduction and how long you were hopping in their faces for.

since I often got hit like 70-ish from fencer (first hit)
and 80-is from behind by MBG

There are more ARTs out there than there are melees
