should i make hatigarm machine a hopper? would it help his slash?
any build suggestions would be helpful too.

Max his STR and 36 WLK, strap 2 K-Shields on his arms, get Blast Guard Sword Guard and Short Boost, and walah you have an annoying doggy.

You oughta try youtube, you may find what you also need there.

His LGs are locked and are untunable. So no Crimson Veil allowed. That's what really holds him back (besides his melee animation)

If he had access to a Lala and Rone combo he might be able to wreck havoc, though.

Back when people used him, they gave him hops, yes.

yes you want to hop because the grounded melee isn't as good as air melee.

Oldschool builds prioritized TGH over WLK - the goal was to get into the middle of the enemy team and flail around randomly to annoy people and prevent them from being organized, there was no need to dump cost into walk for this.
No need for boost run, either. Take stun regain to live longer.
Hatigarm machine was replaced by things like daedalian arm, machintlet arm, suzeku basca, and various others things. Without clearance it gets eaten alive by shock.

This is my Hatigarm Machine Build, well what I'm working on for it. Although I'm pretty darn close to finishing it (I've gotten the WLK to 34 so far, TEC to 23, and successfully tuned the weapon for Force once). This is just what I'm going to make mine into in the future,

Mine uses a Charge Pierce Gun, which is awesome on mine. However, if you don't have a Charge Pierce Gun, maybe a normal Pierce Gun will work. Oh, and it's LVL5 Room useable too.
