I've been reading recently that FLY actually DOES affect hop distance, but I'd still go with sacrificing FLY for WLK. It's a 2 for 1 deal after all, and you can run around without hopping too.

if you full gunner... not really nessesary.... just your WB duration gonna kinda low when the str-tec imbalance too far...

zero is fine if you don't use your wb at all except for the invincibility frame...
of course, if you are playing a hopper laz, you probably need it so 4 str is fine

I apologize if this was already mentioned on the thread, but do these tips apply to the other LazFlamme variants? The other variants I'm talking about include LOUD, RUSH, DUEL, etc.

I apologize for the necro, but I have a relevant build and tuning plan.

I looked through this thread, and I didn't notice anyone with a build involving Ritter Laz. It's been in the shop for a while now, and I picked one up as soon as I could. The biggest difference between it and a normal Laz is that it has access to Broad Radar, a cartridge I really like to use. The only issue I have with her is that they used classic Crim's voice, instead of her own. Other than that, I found it to be somewhat overpowered in the Beginner Rules room.
The basic idea is to melee enemies with the AM3, then abuse the BS when the AM3's ammo runs out. I find the melee hopper build to be extra useful against elevated enemies because they would probably expect a melee bot to use carts like sway, tough runner and assault step. I can also use it to avoid gunfire when I'm starting to run low on HP.
The 36 WLK lets me run up to most bots really quickly, and 19 STR happens to be a breakpoint for the Laz AM3 (both 19 and 20 STR make it do 43 damage before modifiers). I use the bits to grab my targets, and melee spam lets me charge them up quickly, so duration isn't too much of an issue (I have a habit of never leaving a bot w/ a stat <1).
Today's metagame tends to focus on raising EHP, and the buckler serves that purpose MUCH better than Ritter's fail-shield (434 EHP vs 399(?) EHP and the inability to fly, not to mention the inconvenience of trying to use the BS while the AM3 is equipped).

I just realized there wasn't any Ritter Lazflamme guide too...
Personally I would suggest getting boost run and tuning more strength since you have limited slots.
Ritter Lazflamme already has Lazstep to jump and dodge, she doesn't need all the extra short boost carts like quick land and quick jump.
You are just adding extra cost to her.  Also great tunes really add a lot of cost... :/ And hopping doesn't really work well with Am3 since you can miss more easily and it runs on ammo.
Buckler is fine.  Much better to just get 2 lazflamme am2s, a buckler and an Evil Halberd.
