About Laz BS...
-On the ground, you get two hits, the dash part(which gives you major distance) and the kick(which launches targets into the air). Note that the kick comes AFTER the dash, means you gotta figure distances, movement, and target bot size to get the kick.
-Kick always does 1 damage. Dash goes off STR.
-In the air, you ONLY get the dash part, since Laz can't seem to kick in midair. Nice for an air dash or striking airborne bots.
-In the water, you only get the dash. Makes you move a heck of a lot faster than just walking, nice especially since Laz has no Quick Swim cart nor does she have the FLY to quickly escape the watery grave. You can't use this to attack in the water, so it's only good if you're not in combat.
-If you are locked on and use Laz BS in midair, you will dash diagonally to the ground in an attempt to strike your target. Works just as good as releasing the spacebar, sometimes better.
-Works best on large targets. Not so well on smaller ones.

Jikun W-Tackle is easily avoided if you spot the lagkun coming or if the user doesn't have enough skill to use the W-Tackle effectively...which is approximately 90% of Jikun players.
Or...Gigantinger AM/AM2, although it's purely situational melee(which means it isn't worth it).

Oh yeah, W-tackle will either pop in front of you if you're far away from the jikun, or from behind you if you're close. Judge your distance and you can avoid it by either charging forward or dashing back, then pepper his face with bullets/score your own melee combo.

Got that backwards, the kick does the damage and the dash does 1.

And the Laz BS kick is amazing, I've killed everything from Vanguards to Bynes to Seraphs to TBGs with Laz by comboing it with raid rifle.

Also, I don't think Combat Mag was out yet when I wrote this. I didn't add any new weapons or parts when I updated, I just added descriptions to what was already there :c

If my interest ever piques in this, I'll try those ideas out. I have both an unused raid rifle as well as a boatload of combat mags lying around.

The problem is, I can't STAND playing hoppers. I just can't get it to work for me at all.

And playing Lazflamme reminds me quite similarly to Renny. Sway/hop a little, shoot a bunch of shell typed weaponry, kick when you're near someone...

Yeah that does sound...oddly familiar o.O

Easy access info on Combat Mag:
-Similar to Custom Magnum(your standard magnum rounds, etc.)
-Stats: 120 cost, +2 WLK, 370 ammo, 15 Force, 230 Range, 300 Speed, 400 Interval
-Generally reliable and easy to get if you bother rolling Sugoi
-I find it more useful against larger targets, especially with Hypershot. The reduced Interval lets you shoot a fat art for 15 damage(if the art's got shell guard, you do 13 damage) every 1/5th second, which makes a fat art's 400+ HP seem pretty measly.

@ngelic: Laz could work as Mobile AA LND if you give her Bazookas(Handy works best) as main weapons. You can also kick low-flying Airbots in the face to send them flying/midair stun and drop.

Added info to combat mags cuz they've replaced custom mags on my Renny for some period:

INT is also slightly shorter on the combat mags; the bullet size is the same, and clip size is also the same (roughly from what I could tell.). You'd get more DPS out of the combat mags because they fire slightly faster. But for the same reason, it makes it harder to spam accurately while you're swaying. Hypershot has always been a favorite on my Renny <3

@Fire I know I can do zooks on these bots. I've attempted it on Renny (they're now what she currently wields iirc..) because I needed something to stun the thing I was alphaing. But aside from that, it's not really viable to have a handy zook to spam for DPS because the ammo is really quite small a pool. Which is why I'm hesitant to use it now -_- And my handy came outta lotto boxes so they're unslotted... (I think some people got handys outta their WP cubes last time so they have slots..)


Apart from that, yes the BS sounds like the only viable reason why I'd run a Lazflamme. The experience of having another mobility option at my fingertips sits quite well with me.

Well, save the upcoming Lazflamme promotion. That will definitely make me play one of the like 5 varieties of lazzes I own... (I got most of the ones outta gara, got another kind from the Robo cubes and I have the promo one..... )

Clip size is 100 units larger than Custom(more hyper shot spamming!), which is why I like it. The +2 WLK is also a boon to any LND that can equip it(funny thing, Combat Mag is a LND-only weapon...). On mine, I broke the first slot going for Great Run Alpha, and got the second slot in with High Range Alpha or something like that. The added range is nice, thanks to Combat's decent speed and ammo pool.
I would go Microzooka...i forget if LND can equip them but assuming so, tune it for ammo, although Micro hardly needs it(190 ammo iirc, pretty good for a bazooka weapon). The high prevalence of slotted Microzooka in the game makes it a lot more viable than Handyzooka.

Also, I'd assume LazFlamme AM2, with the shoulder guards, has added cost(dunno off the top of my head). So you'd have to build a LazFlamme with high or medium cost AM parts.

And...WHAT LAZFLAMME PROMO?!?!

100 ammo is great, but the beef I have for combat mag is the 20 extra cost for 2 WLK. Yeah the 20 cost also factors in that 100 extra ammo and faster spammage, but generally in most fights I don't run out of the ammo. I tend to die first (although I blame that on being too aggressive when I sway with her) and I don't hypershot spam unless I'm in a relics map (because the PS is just so darn close).

It's just the only 2 WLK for 20 cost (minus ammo factor) is the problem for me.

Also, microzook takes a -2 wlk penalty. Which is hefty when I consider it for Renny because I jot down every -stat to the dot =.=

You're talking about Mini Zook. Micro Zook only does -1 penalty on FLY and WLK, but I think, is only accessible to ARTs.

Also, Laz promo? Glorious underboobs, I need to level up her now~!

Mini zook takes the -2 penalty. Micro and Handy both have -1 penalties, but I'm only sure that Handy's accessible to LND.
I'd gladly take +20 cost for +2 WLK...especially since LazFlamme's base stats only has 14 WLK(slow as fuck for a LND type). The weapon itself is only a small increase in cost over Custom Magnum(which has only +1 WLK, and +1 FLY which you can use for tuning, I suppose, but the additional WLK that Combat provides lessens the amount of tuning you need).

Protip: Hypershot isn't just limited to the PS. The item appears to last longer than the PS boost too. I usually try to carry one or more Hypershot items in case I'm confronted by a heavy ART with big fat bazookas and missiles.
Best target for hypershot spammage: Saggy Maxis. Since most Saggy players only really use his railgun, if you get close enough you can make it a shitload harder for the target to strike you, and then you can leverage your generally superior mobility against the target. I caught a Saggy out alone in some desert stage(I forget the name, maybe it was Sand Cliff Sand or something like that. I remember it's a large stage with a lot of launcher funnels), and boy, did that poor Saggy pay for his stupidity. I killed it in about 30 seconds and escaped before reinforcements could get to my position.

Laz promo = new manga? new abilities? bigger underboobs?

It was a rumor somewhere on this forum a while ago..Lemme see if I can dig it up... I'm really afraid it also might be in the regular CB community forums.. God knows you can't search those forums for anything BUT diary entries..

Also in the meanwhile, disregard that possible idea of a promo. I want to find that thread before I make someone really think it might exist. Because now so many people don't know of it... That disconcerts me greatly.

**EDIT: 15 minutes of searching between google, and fastforwarding to 2k posts of the regular CB site (cuz I remember reading it around the time official service started). I can't find it.

That really bothers me now, because I remember reading it, with Tempura posting it saying that it was in the making, and that JP has been clamoring for one for a while because Laz has been so underpowered, and yet one of the advertised bots. And that the only reason why it hasn't been released yet, despite all the new cosmic fangirls and crap, was cuz they couldn't figure out what to make her into.

I know that sounds like possibly too good to be true. And yknow maybe it is; maybe my memory is so screwed up that I'm thinking rumors to be true. I can't find my proof no more -_-'' But I do remember somewhat that the thread was called "rumor mill" something to that degree... Maybe someone else can dig around and see if they can find it?

Or maybe I should post it into the CB home forum again and see if Tempura can confirm it for me...

I agree cause if they decide to upgrade her, there isn't anything really that I can see her doing that she can't do right now.

Unless they go make her get a crap ton of Byne like armor and give her a core move like misty rain's making her into a melee type instead of how she is played now which I seriously don't see happening.

very, not as much popular as bellze A or Froglander hopper , but like from 5 fight, you can find 2 of em at least a lazz hopper ther ...

also alot ppl using her LG ther due extra BS slot...

and i just realised how Epic her BS in small space close combat ... i capable hold a ivis and a random bot with domiclown AM2 alone in mine map till my allies comes just by spamming the BS kick ...

LazFlamme AM: 30 cost, +15 HP, +1 STR +1 WLK +2 TGH, equippable by all types, S size
LazFlamme AM2: 50 cost, +20 HP, +2 STR +1 WLK -1 FLY +2 TGH, LND-type only, S size
