Hello from the CosmicBreak Service Team.

Over the past months, we have received a very large volume of feedback requesting that balance adjustments be made to the Zero type characters who were released in February 2012, as well as to several other new characters who were released after February 2012.

When developing new characters for CosmicBreak, we attempt to give them as many new features and abilities as possible in order to ensure that our new content is fresh and exciting. Our developers created the powerful abilities of the Zero types with that goal in mind; it was never our intention to create balance breakers. However, there is a limit to the level of game balance that can be achieved through the test playing carried out by our small team, and due to the huge number of different characters and builds available in CosmicBreak, we are oftentimes unable to foresee the exact way in which a certain ability may affect the metagame until after its release. For this we are very sorry.

It usually goes against our policy to "nerf" content for which our loyal players may have paid real money to acquire. However, in this case, we have come to feel that the massive demand for balance adjustments coming from the vast majority of the playerbase (including many players who have themselves obtained the very content in question) should be allowed to trump that policy. Therefore, we will soon be making balance adjustments to certain characters and parts designed to reduce their combat effectiveness. It is our intention that by doing so, CosmicBreak's PvP will become more enjoyable for everyone. We humbly ask all of you for your understanding and cooperation regarding this matter.

The following is a list of the characters that we plan to adjust:

- Eris
- Resha
- Haruka Langit
- Monica Gold
- Rone Amabile
- Ivis (HD Version)
- Seraph Crimrose (HD Version)

Planned adjustments include:

- Changes to reduce the effectiveness of parts which seem to be the most overpowered.

- Changes to increase the effectiveness of some other parts.

- Equal increases of both Cost and Capacity, in order to increase unit Cost without effecting what Tunes Ups and/or parts may be used.

We plan to carry out these changes during 7/19 weekly maintenance.

Additionally, for a limited period of time, we will be allowing all Tune Ups made to any parts (except for HD Accessories) of the characters listed above to be freely revoked, with used Tune Up materials being recovered without the use of a Cosmos Regret OMEGA. Even Ex Tune Up materials and campaign prize materials that cannot usually be recovered via a Cosmos Regret OMEGA will be recoverable during this time period. The time period for freely revoking Tune Ups to the above characters will be from 7/19 weekly maintenance until 8/30 weekly maintenance.

Flapjack is now one of the most broken bots in CB.

this is a major step into a better direction even if the changes are not what most people might expect (me included) simply because they actually NERF the stuff which they didnt do in a long time

once they did this, its safe to assume that they will do it again if the impact on the crybabies community isnt to heavy

well at least this means if the nerfs those bots receive are decent enough(i stress "if" btw). people cant complain at others for using them then.

but yes as stated above, flapjack will now be the dominant machine in this game.


...buuuuuuuuuuuttttt fapjack can still be easily taken down by AA builds since its weapons dont have insane ranges.

Was thinking about that but couldn't go read it again. Her main weapon not having as much range cripples her from using it as a solo weapon, but you always have a 280 range weapon to guide all the other bullets anyway.
I always found the 280 range kinda retarded, not that the weapon is strong, but it ends up guiding all the other weapons.

Yet 270 range and 29 force cannons, small size and 10 boost charges, makes him really annoying. Add air loop (doesn't he accelerate when using the boost charge?) and you only get hit if you are that unlucky or stupid.
Also, you can get Broad radar on flapjack to make it even better.

they'll have my money once i see the weapons and blue balls. I like having slot protectors, not handas. I also like getting useful weapons rather than a terrible awesome but impractical weapon.

i think i'll hold off on optimism on this one.

allowing people to refund 100% of their mats/ex tune materials means they're basically ready to dump it all on the next standard of OP.

KEEP IN MIND that they have made no agreement nor stipulation as regards to future moebots not being absurdly OP. They can still make the next set of moebots just as powerful as pre-nerf Zero/Wing/FC (regardless of what the nerf might entail)

Also, however Rone may devastate hopper meta in CBJP, her presence is virtually invisible in EN. She doesn't deserve a further nerf on top of that.

As many people pointed out, the other wing moe is conspicuously missing from that list.

Newvis needs a slight nerf, I guess. She's basically the god of 1v1 land-based combat at the moment.

Yeah, not much complained about her. Who said she was OP anyway? Then again, if she's OP in JP, then that makes sense.
