how about this since both of them look alike & if i gender bent them almost nothing would change ..... how about i make jikun wear a Chinese dress (yes the one for girls) & Hu wear a the ones for boys or something like Kirapica (Hunted X Hunted) ??? & ill keep a small part of there mech helms is that ok?

Great work! I LOVE the facial design. I think I'll follow your style in that sense x3

One thing if I have to comment on something, is the body proportion of Haruhi. She's too short with too wide of the legs.

The really scary thing is, while it is completely off-proportion, I couldn't realize it until MUCH later since you were so pro at drawing everything else; the posture, the shading, and practically everything else!

The metal piece thing covering Long's ear should be quite a bit longer.
