I dont know what section to put this post in, but since it is related to CB (buying rt), I'll post it here.

I've spent no less than $100 every new gara since cb first opened. The only thing I've got to show for it is an eve, alba, and tbg, I've spent a total of at least $3,000 and got nothing to show for it. I've quit rolling since the mega-gara, and saved up my money instead, deciding to waste my money on physically tangible itenz instead, look at my results Very Happy

If I spent that money on something else other than RT, then I would spend it on iaido classes and a new katana.

Playing Ouka is still fun though.

So you choose to blow it all on figurines instead of Rt. You're still blowing your money. And if spending money on hobbies is considered a waste, what's the damn point of having hobbies then?

There is a big differences. What you spend on ROOT is just borrowing stuffs Cyber$tep made for their online game. Well, figures, copy of games you bought are actual property you own.

At least you can sell off the figurines, games, porn or whatever physical property you bought with your money. You can't really sell what you don't own like those pixels on Cyber$tep server.

actually, the other main reason why I bought the figurines, the ecchi ones anyway, is that when they are out of print, their resale value goes wayy up. I've seen some sell for $80 a few years ago that I could've bought, but now I'm kicking myself because they're now selling for $700-$1000. Of course those are extreme examples, but decent figures average about 2x their original value once they're out of print.

I've done a lot of research, and the really sexy high quality figures average about 5x their original value when they're out of print.

Case in point:
