Necro-ing this thread because I have a question about status effect, so, sorry for that.

What does Paralyze (not the tune) do?. A lot of melees inflict it in the end of combos and stuff. I was thinking if it was only to showcase an attack with high\absolute stun rate, if it leaves target more susceptible to stun or something along those lines. Any enlightment?

i think he meant the Golden Viel :v

golden veil is knockup protection. Attacks that do SS stun inflict it, and as long as you have it, you can't be knocked up by those attacks again. It's to prevent inescapable chain juggles by those attacks. There's a lot ways you can still be chain stunned, you just won't be juggled.
certain people will tell you it doesn't work because "i was still juggled" yet none have come forward with actual evidence of it not working.
