This is what I am thinking to do when I get her from DX shop...

Spoiler:

- I don't use fast recovery, if you know me, you certainly know it. I find sword guard + 15hp to
be way more useful for me since I personally don't have trouble dealing with debuffs.

- I wont tune more than a h.glad on her weapon because a single h.glad is more than enough
on most of the standard melees. I prefer to use the cost and slots that I would wast with other
weapon tunes (aka 2x grapplers) on anything else.

- It's not like I dont want to use a bs on her, but I could reach a better build without the bs than
when I tried it with an Abyss bs, got problems with stats/cost allocation.

Feel free to give me suggestions, they are always welcome...

With all the debuffs this game has, with almost every single weapon doing some type of debuff, I can't see why Sword Guard is more useful than Fast Recovery. But as you said, is your personal choice

imo, most of them aren't that effective against melees, some are only effective on
specific circumstances or simply doesn't last long enough to make me bother and most
of the problematic ones are easy to predict and avoid due to it being applied by
specific units. Honestly, the only thing that gave me trouble was Homura before the
nerf and the most annoying one now (for me) is Alice, but I don't get hit by that shit
often enough...

I used to have either melees with and without Fast Recovery and I just felt like
it being 30 dead cost for me...

About the sword guard, even if you are not willing to engage in a melee fight, there's
always these stupid melees that chases you and most of them hits heavy enough to
be a pain in the ass and sometimes you want to fight some of them due to the lack
of better targets. The last time I got Fast Recovery over Sword Guard I really regreted
it (I did it while building Mercurio, my last melee)...

well, don't get me wrong, I am not saying that fast recovery is bad, it just doesnt suits me...

this is pretty much why i drop boost run since it doesn't really fit my style, I do have some bots with boost run but those are bots that move a lot which could really use the massive speed boost

but i normally can dodge just fine since bullets can make sharp turns or hit when u move slightly

Fast Recovery is a god send for Gi-chan.
