Current Condition of CBEN?

I've been thinking of going back to CB, but is the playerbase still there? When I played one time, it was only 150 or so players. Also, are the overpowered bots still a problem?

150 is still how many players we have logged in at any given point in time.

The low rank room is usually empty. Those people hang out in the Chaos Room and constantly lose.

People still intentionally lower their BR, either from feeding or roomhopping, and then go into the low BR room and faceroll new people.

The client is extremely bloated, now, (new bots every month = more and more data that the client is stuffed with,) and almost everyone complains about the game freezing for multiple seconds at a time.. whether that is the client freezing or the server being a shit is debated upon.

People still bitch and moan about OP bots. CS has been releasing old bots for UC, although they are only giving us 1 slotted ones. They've also updated the shop with lots of 2s bots for RT.

The game is really still fun, though.. as long as you aren't the type of person that just has to win all the time.

Koiro, I love 'ya, man, but you suck at rushing. Yesterday, you just kept crashing against the enemy team like a wave crashing on a rock wall.. with as much effect. I really think you should play longer ranged units and stay close to your team.

Lately I've been trying to not do that. Also the constant frame fuck ups I have tend to keep me from actually being able to get away

Just downloaded CBEN and played a few matches. The game improved SIGNIFICANTLY!

They are basically now following what CB Taiwan is doing with allowing to purchase RT bots, just to a lesser degree (they still need profit), brought back ranked matching for new players and added the Coop or whatever as well, when it was only opened through GMs only.

I still noticed some overpoweredness, but it's probably less than before since veteran players might've left already. :)Hope they keep on bringing more players (though not likely).

To be fair, yes, it's more fun now. you can depend in your teammates to some extent.
But I guess is a matter of "who's online" lol

the game is still hard as hell however if you know how to make use of the RT bots in shop and properly build them you will be fine at least for a midway run since there are too many fags for any one with limited options to handle

you have the UC to RT option plus some RT bots are now for UC i advise you to pick dracken this guy will sure help you

this game need alot of patience and determination because it will take a very long time for you to buy the bots you need to play with plus tuning if you don`t plan to invest alot of time and effort then leave because despair will catch up very fast to you

as for gara that decision of whether to roll or not is ultimately yours you should survive if you played shop bots so don`t roll unless you are desperate to get more power

and yes, the game has gotten way better if you don't like spending a lot of money. You can do a lot w7o touching the gara these days.

Everything is fine in low lat, until someone room hops in with resha and eris.
