I guess Frost would be the most useful since he benefits from pretty much all mods then. Vitality, Redirection, Steel Fiber, Vigor. Do things like Flow and Streamline affect anything?

Flow I think it does, since the energy for the archwing is based on the warframe's energy. Streamline I don't think so, every ability has 25 cost, and there's an archwing mod for the energy efficiency.

Archwing by itself already gives you a small boost to some stats, and then it even has mods to increase those stats even more.
I've been using Saryn, not bad as well, but Frost looks better since overall it just swaps HP/shield values but gets more armor.
I'm not sure if mods like Equilibrium work, but things like Thief's Wit won't work, even though Loot Detector does because it's an aura.

Mirage is the only reason I'm keeping dual Cestras.
I like how they reduced the ammo for some primary weapons that used the rifle ammo count, but didn't bother increasing it for weapons like these. Max ammo should've been per weapon from the start.

And since you can't use frame abilities the only things that matter are shields/HP/armor, which means that Rhino or Frost are the best frames for archwing.

By completely retarded you mean they are impossible to beat? i'm looking to get into warframe later this month with a friend. Hopefully wont be boring like first in closed beta Neutral that was a sad experience.

Uranus Interception Hellions will kill you in a single volley of missiles. Mostly because each missile hits you just as hard as a single Penta hit on Neptune archwing mission, and they fire a bunch of them in a row, the moment 1 of them hits you, you will be stunned and the following missiles will kill you right away. They are killable, which isn't the main issue, the issue is how a single mistake can cost you the mission. And those also happen to be 1 of the 2 enemies that are bugged, which makes it so if you aren't the host, you will most likely kill them, and then if you don't kill them with the missiles from the archwing but with the gun/melee, they will turn invisible, because the host doesn't acknowledge them as dead, and the only way to kill them as a client is to hope that your missiles will follow the now invisible enemy.
But even without the bug, they are way too strong. It's like a Ballista at high level planets at 30+min survival, they will 2 hit the fuck out of you, and just 1 hit will fuck you really hard already that if you aren't lucky, the other enemies will easily finish you off.

They really should add a warning sound for the missiles as well, just like other space games usually do it, hopefully they will do so later.


Sitting at 1250 plat, I guess if it goes well and I hit 1500, I will spend like, 200 is sweg. I like to keep big reserves just in case something big happens,

I never saw people posting the price for that one. On the weekend I got to sell a rare mod for 100p, some rare mods are going for pretty damn low now, though some people are still trying for 100p.

BTW, don't bother going beyond Round 4 on Archwing's earth interception. It's just weapon parts every 4 rounds, and crap mods.
I did 13 rounds on solo, not a single thing besides that.

A guy Solo'ed 4 rounds of the Uranus interception, got T4 keys instead, hopefully it's a bug. Though, damn.
He used a Valkyr, so it probably had a max rank Steel Fiber and all other mods as well, still, too much autism for me.

Edit: It seems that it's not a bug, seeing as I just got the part at round 8, 4 seems to be a T4 key and no the archwing part, as the reward didn't repeat itself at 8. Though Honestly, I only got there because host migration twice bugged the enemies and they didn't spawn for 6 rounds.

I kinda feel bad for the other guy, but that's a lot considering the amount of time I actually spend farming for that mod. I might even be able to get another one and get a total of 70 out of it by selling two of them.

I tried to farm that mod today, nearly 1k drones killed in 2 runs, only 2 uncommon mods. It's faster to get uncommons and sell them instead.


Opticor is interesting, unfortunately, not that great for end game or fast paced fights.
Has highest damage per shot I think, but then the bows easily do more damage when modded, because they can get 100+% crit chance, while Opticor isn't good for crit build.

You need to charge almost 50% to fire it, but full charge deals more damage, but you can't hold it at full charge since when it gets fully charged it will automatically fire. Can be a fun weapon, but not the next big thing.
Though if you want to fill the spot of heavy armored enemies killer, it's not a bad weapon for that.
Single them out with Limbo and then laser cannon them in the face.

The interest in the uncommon one seems quite a bit lower. Was farming them yesterday as well. We even got 4 of them carriers just sitting there clipping into each other and shitting out drones. We got around 2k kills on them in that run. I just sit there and tank the shots mostly so they don't move around while my friend can easily shoot them from the side.

I love Opticor, it's really fun to use. Glad I decided to make it. I can see this possibly becoming the highest one-hit weapon. Opticor has 15% crit, that's not even that bad. Also looks like it'll never run out of ammo.

Though you'll need a reliable secondary with it.

It's not bad, but comparing to the bows, it's what makes them outdamage the Opticor despite the Opticor having the highest raw damage. Though Opticor now has bonus damage for full charge, which seems to be twice the original damage.

Also, did they add a sound to the grineer caches on the sabotage missions? During gate Crash I don't remember them making a sound, but now it's easier to find them if you listen carefully, since you start hearing a sound as you get closer.

It seems that Void sabotage was giving plat cosmetics but they removed that now. If only I knew. D;
I only went to earth to see what they gave, didn't get anything that good, just credit caches, non rare fusion cores and mats (not the rarest ones). Still have to try the void ones.


Edit: Opticor is actually nice on Limbo. You can rift walk, and then you start charging the opticor, use banish on the enemy while charging and then it fires the full charge. Problem is that the stun makes it hard to headshot, and if you don't aim a bit down on them, you might miss.
I also got New Loka death squad after me, it was fun watching like, 6 eximus ancients in front of me.

Edit2: Been thinking which direction to go with Opticor. Either raw damage or status build, though I think raw damage is a better idea, since the selling point is the raw damage. 3 Elemental mods going for raw damage get +90% damage (30+30+30) comparing to dual status mods, but it needs 2 more forma.
Raw damage is 15536.30, which is accounting with multishot, but then, charged it does twice the damage, that's 31072.6 damage without crits, in a single shot.
A Paris Prime build that I have saved, which probably is what I have in game, does 22075.34 per shot, and that's accounting with the crit chance.
Now imagine that with a buff/debuff that makes hit harder. O_O That hotfix made Opticor really strong.

I should rebuild some of my frames as well, 'cause free slot on some. Was looking at Mag Prime and not sure what to give her right now. I could use the new +str -dur mod which coupled with low level blind rage I can get 100% str and 75% efficiency to skill spam, or just a low level overextended and higher level blind rage to get more range. Not sure if flow is that good compared with the new mod + low level blind rage, will have to do that math.

Got my hands on Elytron, and it's rather static, but yeah, mostly offensive. Pretty much every ability has issues with moving enemies, which makes it better for interception, but for trench run or exterminate, I'd rather go with Odonata (except solo exterminate), since you can keep moving while avoiding enemy fire and close encounters.
The funny thing, is that while it's good for interception, you also get it from interception, which is the hardest archwing mission in the game, and it's hard as hell. If you get Elytron right now, there won't be anything significant to do, besides... farm mods? Because there's no reason to go to Uranus again and go through hell, again.

Edit3: And the ability removal ate one of the stock polarity slots on my Volt, but kept the slot that I used the forma on.

Lost all interest in Limbo after all that you see are trolls. Even had two players, a Limbo and a Vauban, that were constantly banishing you and putting jump pads under you to get you to leave. They even openly said this in chat and threw insults on top of that. They also will just let you die and continue insulting afterwards. I just kept making screenshots of the chat without saying anything.

When I decided to stay for the next 5 waves despite being dead, they wanted to bail on the next one and actually seemed mad. Pretty sad when they end up getting annoyed themselves when trying to annoy someone else.

If they keep adding those mods, they really should add a slot just for those mods. Like, that one slot is only for ability modifier, but if you want more, you will need to use regular slots instead.
IMO, the current amount of slots is pretty good, but with those mods, you will run into problems on some frames to fit them in, and giving more free for all slots will just make some frames ridiculously strong, without promoting the use of those mods.
Though the actual problem with some frames, that doesn't make them as strong with more slots, is their lack of synergy. (Limbo has good Synergy, but being as situational as he is, you will have a bunch of builds to go with each mission type/enemy.)

The other Frame that I remember having good Synergy is Volt, though you can still just "specialise" on a couple of skills instead. Well, Trinity kinda too. Mag only has bullet attractor screwing it all up.

They also said something about the new Frame on reddit? Though I didn't bother going through that since there was way too much stuff to read. A female with Pistols?
I actually wouldn't mind a Frame more about complementing and using a certain weapon type for the skills instead of Nuking everything.

So a max level warframe would have maxed skills. Anyway it sucks I got a tone of fusion cores back that went towards my skills but do not have the cash to level anything. It cost most my money just to get serration from 8 to 9

Can the codes be used on Steam? Do they start immediately when you put them in and do they have like a some sort of expiration date? (like needing to be activated before X day)

I got quite some stuff that needs to be level'd up. Want to finish all the Prime frames that are popping out of my foundry one after another now and got quite some primaries and secondaries that need a bunch of Forma's on them. So an affinity boost would be pretty nice during the weekend.

I get syndicate hunters on me 2/3 times daily now. Especially from Perrin, they really must hate me. They're total pushovers though. But from what I've heard they're just placeholders. Each syndicate will probably get their own unique hunters.

I dunno how they work on Steam, if at all, since only instructions was to use on WF site.

There's also I'd like you to take note before you use it, and see if this happens to you, so I know why this random thing happened to me. I will explain.

I was going through my inventory once, and found a Braton that I didn't buy. After I counted the number of slots, I noticed that I also had an extra slot that came out of nowhere.
Before they have given codes that were 3-day exp and credits booster AND a braton with a slot and a catalyst installed already, while the ones that I got were supposed to be booster only.
I'm only asking for you to verify it because I didn't know that the Braton codes ever existed, and I don't know from where the hell my Braton and slot came for.

I will PM you both a code. Shai if it doesn't work for you, you can give it for a friend that doesn't use Steam and could use the booster. Just tell me so I know that code doesn't work anymore.
And yes, they start right away from the moment you use them.

IMPORTANT UPDATE
Nyx's Mind Control will be getting the following buff in a future update:

"Targets of Nyx’s Mind Control will not take any damage from your allies until the timer/duration of the skill is over. Once the timer/duration ends, all damage will be applied at once."

The overwhelming request for this type of change has inspired us to add it to the base effects of Mind Control. Please, suggest Augment Mods with this coming change in mind.

Ah, so it was from there. Maybe that's why you can only use one, they just don't want people to get a million free slots.
The Braton is crap unless you are a beginner, but the free slot is love.


Oh, now my mind control victims won't die to my team, or I won't kill someone else's because of trigger finger and not seeing the effects in time. Sometimes you aren't even doing on Purpose, and when you are using weapons with travel time, it feels like they will think you are trolling them, but in fact there was nothing you could do to stop the arrow/bullet in mid flight, because the mind control only happened right after you fired at the enemy.
Now there will be less angry people! Very Happy

Looks like WF is extremely buggy today. Lots of reports about it on the forums too.

I get constantly stuck in endless loading screens or stuck in host migration. And if the host migration doesn't get me stuck, the mission just auto fails afterwards. According to forum posts, you also will fail if you die and revive when you're playing solo.

Some mad Valk with Dread send this PM to my friend after 25 waves on Sechura. He got really mad about my friend spamming Pull and continued on about how he was making this go slower and his Pull did no damage and that he was useless etc. (my friend had done the most damage of the team). Then he went on about how he was immortal and he does more damage and that my friend is a child etc. Ofc my friend just started trolling and being sarcastic and the dude was obviously super mad. But trying really hard not to show it. It was pretty hilarious.

He decided to stay after wave 25 alone. Since he said wave 26, he probably got fucked afterwards.
