Tips on how to hit using a rail gun??

Do I need specific parts like good AMs for better accuracy? or something

Hard to miss with that speed. Just get a lock-on and fire.

The closer the AM is to the center of the bot, the better iirc. For example build arm, accel saber, raystag.

What tggt said. Also, actually keeping your crosshair on the target during the shot. Sure, it's obvious, but it's easy to forget that the at long range you can't afford to rely only on the lock-on assist nor get away with lousy aiming. Also, I often have an easier time hitting when standing still for a few moments.

Faster targets usually require some leading too, which is why it's useful to get used to the RG charge time.

Leading is key.  Also railguns typically have an arc in their trajectory so sometimes you have to lead in an upwards right or left direction as well.  Usually you don't have to though.

Railguns also have a feel for a heavy bullet weight.  It's a bit tricky at first, but you'll get used to it if you practice.  Height also can help, as well as hopping (if you are used to that kind of crosshair movement though, I find that it helps whenever I railgun people with my Mialy. The added height you get is such a big deal because I need to get closer to hit real bad laggers sometimes....).


Not that I actually use her seriously..she's level 10 and sitting there in my garage gathering dust.... *sigh*  I loved her before they buffed her.
