Reshas meluc is getting damage nerfed, her vox is getting bug fixed / possible nerf too. Eris will have EX blade ammo, vainic is getting nerfed too. Sylvia and glanz will have a gaurd nerf I think. Stunning in general is getting nerfed, basically CB might become playable (highly likely I'll return anyway), thoughts? Also, raven is getting extended neo darkmist.

That sounds fantastic.

When I heard someone summarizing the onlinegamer post, they only mentioned melee adjustments.. which disheartened me. Nerfing melee is something that I feel that this game needs, among other things. It would just be one part of a large plan to fix what has been fucked up over time. But, if they're actually going to do bot by bot nerfs again, many people might return (if they aren't totally enthralledwith the games that they have moved on to.)

I'll believe it when I see it in the update notes, translated from JP later today.

・攻撃対象を強制的に浮き上がらせる特殊スタン効果を持つ攻撃について、
 攻撃を受けてから一定時間、これらの攻撃を再度受けても特殊スタン効果が
 発生しなくなるように変更します。
・近接攻撃による弾の打ち消しについて、弾自体を打ち消す仕様を改め、
 近接攻撃が当たった弾の威力が大幅に下がる仕様に変更します。
 ただし、従来から近接攻撃によって打ち消されない弾(ビーム系の弾など)は威力が下がりません。
・エリスの”EX-BLADE”について、使用後のインターバル時間を伸ばします。
 また攻撃を当てたときHPを回復することができる”EX-BLADE”(「イクスブレイド・リヴァイヴ」
 カートリッジ取得時)について、新たに弾数を設定します。
 攻撃が命中してHPが回復したとき、弾数を消費するようになります。
・リーシャの”MELUC”について、威力を下げます。

■ 不具合修正
・特殊スタン効果を持つ攻撃を受けた際、スタンリゲインや自身がスタンしたときに
 一定確率で発動するチューンアップ効果が発動しなくなっていた不具合を修正します。
・クリムゾンベール中にスタンしていなくてもダメージを受けるだけで、スタンリゲインや
 自身がスタンしたときに一定確率で発動するチューンアップ効果が発動していた不具合を修正します。
・エリスのカートリッジ「イクスブレイド・リヴァイヴ」を1つだけ取得していた場合、
 空中で”EX-BLADE”を使用してHPを回復したとき、回復量が「イクスブレイド・リヴァイヴ」を
 2つ取得したときの回復量になっていた不具合を修正します。
・リーシャの”VOX ALTUS”について、攻撃エフェクトが消えたあともしばらく当たり判定が
 消えていなかった不具合を修正します。

開発チームでは、今回のバランス調整が適用された後のアリーナのゲームバランスについて、
改めて検証を行います。
今回の調整でゲームバランスの問題が改善していると考えていますが、
以前に比べて改善されていない、もしくは新たに重大な問題が発生していると判明した場合、
再度のバランス調整を行うことを検討します。

また、今回のバランス調整に伴い、2013年2月28日(木)定期メンテナンス終了から
2013年3月14日(木)定期メンテナンス開始までの間、すべての武器パーツについて、
「コスモリグレットΩ」を消費せずに「コスモスポット・リセット」を使用して
チューンアップ解除ができるようになります。
通常、素材アイテムが返還されないExチューンアップについても、上記期間中に限り
返還が有効になります。
さらに、同期間内にログインしたすべてのプレイヤーの方に「カートリッジリセットALL」を
5つお送りします。

コズミックブレイクをよりお楽しみいただけるように尽力していきますので、
今後ともコズミックブレイクをよろしくお願いいたします。

If I'm reading this right, they're saying they're open to nerfing again if this isn't enough.

I don't think they've touched on the major issues enough, unless the cooldown on vainic is REALLY FUCKING LONG (but it only sounded like it affects vainic resha's party vainic). It still shouldn't have Clearance or stun resist tied in.

They might be adding more nerfs too (RIP sway?) judging by the five free cart resets being sent out.

I just re-read it, and realized extending intervals = more INT, kinda makes sense since she was kind of silly with her shock, same for void.

Both Raven's and Void's, because they're (moreso Raven) broken, but they should have nerfed Raven's weapon too. At least now I can use Raven and feel a little less bad about it because you'll actually be able to damage her.

Definitely excited to see what's done to Resha and Eris, but there's a ton of other things that need to be nerfed. Including Diana and maybe Shana (she has great weapons and all but she's got so many things against her ;_; i just didn't want to sound biased ok ), even if they're still in gara.

Also I wonder if I'll be able to use melee Resha now (assuming both vainics get the cooldown nerf), and she doesn't have stupid juggle effects because of the stunlock nerf.

It said that players on cooldown "can't be targeted with Amot Vainic" so both should have it.

I don't know much about VOID except that most of the time people use dat warpy melee. How Raven is broken is beyond me tbh. Her Mist is pretty good yes, but a good portion of her bullets hit her regardless of it. Using the BD while being in the Neo Dark Mist state actually activates a beyond spamable CD already. The only thing I see happening here is enabling Reshit to send Raven a "befriending" Meluc to show her the error of her ways #em3.5

If anything she should have lowered the stun or damage/range of her phantom shot. The thing is not homing and I can kill with it. It must be OP.
