Full Metal Panic - An old anime not many people know about, but very good. Action/Comedy/Sci-Fi/School/War. There is three seasons : FMP and FMP : The Second Raid for the main story and FMP : Fumofuu for an humoristic season.
Shijou saikyou no deshi kenichi - Same than Full Metal Panic, quite old but very good. Action/Comedy/Slight Ecchi/Martial Arts.

wow, iron. you knew exactly what i had on my mind. i was going to mention these guys if no one had posted them. glad you did.
anyway, i would recommend Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko. it's a nice little anime that is ok. it's 12 episode long and it's really flashy at some points. it does go a bit overboard with the fanservice sometimes... but it's a generally sweet feeling anime.

Original Witchblade (you mean the comics, right?) is "ok" if you like action stuff but they are more or less at the same quality level, and the live action show is mediocre at best.. The Darkness (same setting) is a lot better.

Yeah, story's kinda confusing but I'm having fun watching it(still haven't finished the series yet, 74 episode long)!
