ENGRISH2HARD
That's my first guide I guess? lol Never really bothered to do one since I'm not really an expert player. A lot of people were asking me what tunes I have on my Melfi and how I play her, so I guess this guide will help you out with it. (even tho most of the tips here are pretty obvious) Some people may not agree with my build, but I'm fine with her... so meh.
Spoiler:
First of all you need to decide what kind of support you will be, offensive or defensive. Mine is built to be offensive, because honestly? Only farming and healing with Melfi is preeeetty boring, so I'd recommend you to play her offensively, spam arrow rain and stun dem enemies.
Offensive Melfi
- Weapons: Melfi is made to help people in the front line, meaning that your main weapon is going to be the bow. Since you need capa, don't choose any other weapons than Handy Mag (+15 cost, and even better if you have a 2s or 3s one), tbh I find them pretty useless and a waste of cost. Handy mag is for farming and that's it. I also use fireflower (+10 cost, +1 wlK) as another weapon just for more slots to tune.
- Carts: She is a hopper for sure, don't bother with guards because you will have Broad Radar and won't get hit much. I'm gonna list the carts I got, but of course that it's all up to you, like for example, I got Boost Run instead of Quick Jump.
x6 Capa Short Boost Boost Run Quick Land Broad Radar
Okay, I like Boost Run because I also think that one of the support's problems is avoiding lands, so Boost Run is kinda usefull when you have a land chasing you (when you are out of boost, just hop to dodge the enemy) while Quick Jump wouldn't help you much there. Like I said, if you don't agree with it, it's okay, choose whatever you find good for your Melfi.
- Tunes: I guess this part isn't a secret, really. If you are offensive with her, tune some wlk (mine is walk-based) or fly (well, if you choose Boost Run, pls dun tune fly lol), some hp and that's it. Tgh isn't worth it imo, and tec, well, why would you tune tec anyway? You can tune capa for sure, I did tune my with High Capa, and I REGRET NOTHING.
Bow: Tuning ammo for more repair arrows is a must. Arrows are the best thing about Melfi, so don't think twice and go for 15 ammo (x3 great supply). I don't recommend you to tune less than it, she heals 100hp for every arrow shot, which means that (if you don't miss any of them) you would heal around 1500hp. Fucking OP.
I will post one of my Melfi's stats here. (I just don't post my cupid's because of the ex-tunes, it wouldn't help you much). I'm gonna be honest, my first Melfi was 1 year ago, from her first gara. I only used chibis so let's say that I was pretty happy with her and tuned her in a weird way (lots and lots of regret tunes, it was a pain). I don't even remember if there was cosmicalc back then, so I believe that you can have better stats :3 I won't bother tuning her again, so yea.
Spoiler:
- Bits: Meh, I don't know if it's pretty obvious but oh welp. I only use burst fire when there aren't so many people in the match, you can take care of the heals with the arrow, so that's fine. Repair Bit is when I don't wanna let other supports take my reward, hehe.
- Arena: You will have hp, high wlk or fly, broad radar, what can go wrong? Find a nice spot that let you hit the enemy (especially their healing spot, oh man, that's great to see them jumping around), and heal your team. The range of arrow rain, is exactly the radius of your mini map, so be aware and don't forget to tab. Farm when you get a chance and heal all the time if possible. Some people just don't use the radio, so instead of asking for heals, they run around like crazy and die. Also, don't spam your repair arrows, wait for your ally to at least stop flying/walking, because it's just terrible when you miss it, so use her bow wisely :3
Another thing I forgot to mention, your repair arrow won't count if your mate is already getting healed, please don't try to heal people under a repair bit.
You can try not to suicide like I usually do, it works too.
I have some videos, I don't know if it would help you, but here they are:

Hmm, that's one thing I never knew...no wonder a lot of time when I shoot that arrow it didn't do anything :/ (I always thought it was because I was lagging or something)

Unfortunately heals don't stack (regina's circle doesn't count :3), you can observe that even if you have 2 repair bits on you, you will still get healed with 7hp. So sad

Is 3x Great Supply worth?
90 cost for 5 ammo, compare to 15 cost for 2 ammo(3x supply)>_>

I'd probably x2 h.supply x1 g.supply for 14 arrows (60 cost) if you think triple g.supply's too much.
Honestly you want as many arrows as you can get though, you're defeating the purpose of playing Melfi in the first place if you can't heal as much as possible.

I wouldn't tune, really. Melfi has arrow rain, you wouldn't be near to your enemy unless you decide to attack with handy mag lol Don't do it!!

Yea, and hp if you want. For walk and fly I followed the Boost Run Chart. It's not for support although I was doing some tests with Kazuma and it was working fine (she is fast anyway so I don't care)
