What affects Battle cost of robo-death?

So, playing arena mode with my UC Lazflamme, and when I died, It cost the team 2105BP, yet a the Eris I took out cost our opponents less than 1900BP

I do believe your score and bot cost affect your death cost. Can't say I know for sure though.

Epoch Defense team loses very little bp upon death too.

It's easy to see by looking at those stars on ur head.

Is it multiplier based on the stars? Like 1 star is x1.3 or Crown is x2.5?

There's too many other variables, but crown is believed to be ~x2-3

So it really is a case of the bigger you are, the harder you fall...

Yeah, basically if you're doing well you'll cost your team more, and if you're doing poorly you'll cost your team less.

You'll still cost the bot's cost in your score though, so even if you just lost 2k BP your score will still show your 1k cost. I always wonder how wrong someone must be doing it when I see an Eris/Resha with only 900 BP upon death.

PS breakers/harassers costs a lot also

It's been awhile since I actually cared about the system but iirc every star is +25% BP. Crown starts at x2 cost but since there aren't any other icons above it the cost can get a lot higher based on your performance:




But yeah, it takes a LOT to inflate your BP beyond x2.

Depends on your DPS and what kind of people you deal with (e.g., if you manage to damage or even frag guys like Vyolets, Ether, Adhomie or xz).

Melee attacks usually seem to get you stars quicker. The stars remind me of Grand Theft Auto wanted level because they die down as time passes and more stars means more dangerous and have to kill.

I got 3x multiplier after I killed Etherlight twice in one match.
