Float Dash with lower fly works fine, but note that fly does boost floatdashes performance more compared to walk.

No, because of the whole concept of hop, moving up and down.

Float Dash does not move up and down

On the other hand, it does dodge, though in a different way. I've taken my Lily in and out of enemy PS before and it is good

Doesn't seem too good, but taking float dash means having both blast and sword guard while retaining 3x slow. Man, I really need suggestions: Do the short boost build (without boost run), or Floatdash for 2guard carts.

(Currently I have 2 slows tuned, I'm going to use the 100% harmonic for the third. Just need 12 more rainbow cheepz @w@)

I have a float dash Kuten and quick land is still HIGHLY useful. I'd still take it.

I'll try it, if it doesn't work well with Ivis' crappy range then I'll cart reset it.

Shoot, I can get short boost, quick land, sword guard, blast guard and a handy mag. But to fit the capacity, I would lose 2 str: meaning 33 str and 36 wlk.
Will the 2 str make a difference? (Cost:1055 Cap:1060)

Clearance is kinda hard to get activated, and I have the two guard carts( and I don't have the mats). I could lose 4 str and get two, but I would lose 2 carts. So IMO, I chose not to get them. The weapon isn't for damage dealing, read what Trill wrote ._.

you know, if you got clearance, you could drop sword and blast guard cause clearance comes with all guard

But it's alot easier to just get the carts then to get clearance. I don't wanna invest a WHOLE lot on Ivis. And plus, If I were to get 2x clearance, the build would be a tad off and I wont be able to configure it to the desired build. Ill see how this goes and apply changes when a problem is found Razz

Everyone seems to love x3 slow. I'd rather take a Clearance and drop the 3rd slow. I'd rather live and get more chance to proc my slow than increase the chance but die trying. I would also dip STR if I wanted to tune clearance, same reason. Survivability takes priority, IMO.

No, you can have 3x slow with 3x clearance and still have 36WLK, and 33STR.

There are numerous differences between your build and the the most recent one he posted; I was only adhering to the build he laid out.

If I had time to look into the best possible build stat-for-stat I'd make one and post it here. But I don't, so I was just giving pointers based on what I saw there.

EDIT: Though your build points out something I missed. Switching the High Power Alphas to Betas would free up more cost and he could fit one clearance at least, while keeping the current stats. But he already said he'd done the tuning and doesn't have Regrets, so it's kind of a moot point.

Here's how I tune my melee bots.

High Run Beta -> High Run Alpha -> Run -> High Run -> High Power Beta -> High Power Alpha -> Power -> High Power

If have enough FLY I won't use High Run, but when I don't I use them.

If I'm going to zero TEC, I won't use High Power, because I can use High Power Alpha. If I have some extra FLY left over, I'd use High Power Beta first.

I would use Run and Power to change an odd numbered stat to an even numbered stat, and vice versa. Or if I'm not going to Zero TEC, I'd use them to save me some cost.
