| This is a better move from Anonymous (this is their idea, right?), IMO. You can't be arrested simply for choosing not to buy products. I just wonder if one month will be enough though... | |

| This just in, SOPA and PIPA have been shelved indefinitely: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-16655272
This isn't to say they're actually DEAD though. Black March might still be necessary. Still, a victory for public freedom of expression nonetheless.

- Do not download a single song, legally or illegally.
I don't see how refraining from piracy for a month will hurt the RIAA. I already don't spend any money on music, movies or games. That should be enough. - Representative Smith of Texas wrote:
"It is clear that we need to revisit the approach on how best to address the problem of foreign thieves that steal and sell American inventions and products." So, sending ICE (Immigrations and Customs Enforcement) to shut down websites and hurling frivolous lawsuits at private individuals isn't harsh enough for our lawmakers. The temporary postponement of these two bills are just that: temporary. There is too much attention being paid to them at the moment to risk a vote. The US congress will try again once the American people forget about it. (American's have terrible memories; I give this another year, at most, before they try to pass it again.) Until then, you should all look into the Virtual Private Networking technology that has existed for years.
