Not even a day after SOPA and PIPA were shelved - temporarily, so it says - the lead supporter of it, Lamar Smith, is attempting to pass another Internet-policing bill that lets them legally record anything you do involving money. He's using the argument that it's to stop child pornography, which I can't see as anything other than a transparent lie to make it pass more easily.

Seriously, first it was freedom of expression, now it's privacy? This guy isn't getting the hint. His efforts are starting to warrant more facepalms than OMG's.
