| final step before they get implemented, if theres tonnes of no's then i'll take it no one wants the new rules and i'll just start again making new ones i'll leave this up for a bit before implementing the out come - rules:
BEHAVIOUR
1. Be polite, respectful :
This means no insults, personal attacks, ad hominems, flames, berating, and all other forms of hostile behaviour. Do not attack people - if you can't argue with someone, ignore them. Try to be civil at all times.
This is especially important when dealing with newcomers, arguing and criticizing someone.
2. Keep off-topic short, simple :
No consistent derailing of threads. If you have something to say that is not directly related to the topic of a thread, make it brief and terse, ie. no more than a few sentences. Particularly, do not make posts solely or mainly for this purpose. More than five irrelevant posts will result in a warning.
3. Do not post if you don't have anything useful to say :
No flooding/spamming. Do not make blatantly irrelevant or useless posts. If you don't have any useful commentary or content don't post, and make your comments worthwhile. Simple remarks CAN be considered worthwhile, providing that it doesn't end in single-sentence 'me too' or 'X-chan is my waifu' pointless one-liner posts. The lounge is less critical of this but should still be avoided
4. No thread hijacking :
Do not try to change the course of a thread to suit your own purpose. For example, complaining out of the blue about Aquila girl in someone else's thread about how to deal with X using Y is unacceptable. Or making disengenuous comments in a guild recruiting thread about other players/clans.
5. No bringing out problems/grudges in public :
If you have a big problem with someone, do not talk or even mention it in public. Either take it to the pm or contact moderators. Avoid this in the chatbox as well
6. Problems with moderation or Overwatch:
If you have a problem with the way forums are being run, do not talk or even mention it in unrelated threads. Contact the staff instead, in private. If you have problems with someone in the overwatch contact IronDicks for problems to be solved, if you have problems with admins/mods do not be afraid to approach them.

POSTING
7. Grammar :
Take time to write out your posts. Do not use 'leetspeak' and try to be grammatically correct.
8. Formatting and emoticons :
Do not abuse emoticons and font formatting (bold, italic, size, colors etc).
9. Big images :
Do not post an images that will stretch the forum, link to them instead. A screenshot of entire desktop with your game client in view (~1024x768) is considered a 'big image'. If you are posting animated gifs, be mindful of their size.
You may also hide large images using the spoiler tags.
10. Quoting images :
Don't quote posts with images. Please take some time to edit links (or [img] tags) out of the quotes or use a spoiler.
11. Quote pyramids :
Do not do them. If you absolutely must continue quoting people (e.g. it's a new page), snip out the relevant bits, break up the quotes, etc.
12. Multiposting :
Unless it’s your own thread and you have valuable content to add, edit your posts instead of posting multiple times one after another, if its 24 hours after the first post then it is ok.
13. Thread necromancy :
We do not recommend Necroing topics, this is because some topics are not needed to be talked about again, we will not be locking topics anymore that get necroed (unless they are completely useless).
14. Max reply limit :
To combat topics becoming too large to comprehend topics will have a reply limit of 500 replies (approx 34 pages) after which the topic will be locked. To continue on a topic start by linking to the old and adding a summary if necessary.
15. Duplicate topics :
do not make duplicate topics, we only need one conversation about a topic, duplicate topics will be merged with other topics. Obvious dup threads will be merged immediately, for less obvious topics moderators will decide on the bases of the path the topic is taking, if it is found to be heading in a different direction to its simular topic it will be left on its own.
16. Image macros :
No posts that consist entirely of image macros, period.
17. Signatures and avatars:
Signatures are now displayed in a scrollable section which will only display a maximum of 200 pixels in height at all times, the scroll bar will only be seen when the signature has surpassed 200 pixels in height. You may post images as long as they do not stretch the forum width. The total size of all images in your sig should not surpass 550kb.
Do not have YouTube videos in your sig, you can link to the video but do not embed it.
Animations: Animated avatars and signatures are frowned upon - which is to say they may be removed without warning - especially those which flash between bright colours. Subtle animation is fine, but try not to make it anything too eyecatching. Please mind the file size as well.
Abuse of signatures and avatars will be met with those features being disabled. However, mods will not ding you for having tasteless sigs and avas.

CONTENT
Texts, links, pictures, animations, videos or any other content recognized as illegal will be deleted without notice or warning.
18. No Warez or Piracy :
This includes (western) games, music and software
19. No Hacking or Cracking
No discussion regarding decompiling the game client or packet sniffing
20. No Spam or Unsolicited Invitations
Discussing about other games and things in the right forum is fine, though
21. No Raids
No attacks against networks or servers, ESPECIALLY Cyberstep's servers
22. No Porn
Outright smut is a no no... please keep it tasteful and within 'boundary'
23. No Fraud
Looking at you survey farmers and account sellers/traders
24. Personal Info
No posting another user's personal information. Period.
CHATBOX
general rules still apply such as rules 1,4 and 6
25.Spamming
No spamming images that are considered "eye cancer" these include flashing rainbow images. Or multiple animated images in a row.
No spamming the chatbox. This is very annoying for other users as it floods up and people are unable to read what was above, if there is something broken in the chatbox call a mod or admin to fix it
26.Linking
No R-18+ websites are allowed to be linked to in the chatbox. These include but, are not limited to Gelbooru and Sankaku Complex.
