BEHAVIOUR

1. Be respectful of others:
This means no insults, personal attacks, flames, berating, and all other forms of hostile behavior. Do not attack people - if you can't argue with someone, ignore them. Try to be civil at all times, and treat others as you want to be treated. If you have a big problem with someone, do not talk or even mention it in public. Talk to them in private chat or contact an administrator to take care of the situation. If you see others arguing, don't jump into it. Try stopping it by reminding the two to stop arguing, or contact an admin.

- As of November 4, 2013, all members included in a fight will receive a warning, not just the offender. If you believe a warning has been given out unjustly, contact an admin and give your reasons why it should be reverted.

2. Keep off-topic posts short & simple:
No consistent derailing of threads. If you have something to say that is not directly related to the topic of a thread, make it brief and terse, ie. no more than a few sentences. Particularly, do not make posts solely or mainly for this purpose. If you don't have anything useful to say at all, even if it is off-topic, do not bother posting as you're wasting people's time, especially your own.

3. No thread hijacking:
Do not try to change the course of a thread to suit your own purpose. For example, if there is a thread about someone selling generics for 2,500 UC each and someone offers to buy them, don't post in the thread telling them that you have generics for just 500 UC each. If the customer wants to find cheaper prices, he can find it himself. Leave advertising to your own threads.

POSTING

4. Formatting and emoticons:
Do not abuse emoticons and font formatting (bold, italic, size, colors etc). Examples include using  10+ times in a row, using insanely huge font in your posts, or typing in a font color that will hurt people's eyes.

5. Big images:
Do not post an images that will stretch the forum, link to them instead. A screenshot of entire desktop with your game client in view (~1024x768) is considered a 'big image'. If you are posting animated gifs, be mindful of their size.

6. Quoting:
Don't quote posts with images. Please take some time to edit links (or [img] tags) out of the quotes. Don't quote big paragraphs and keep them unedited. If you want to comment on a specific part, edit out all of the bits you're not commenting on.

7. Multiple Posts:
Unless its your own thread and you have valuable content to add, edit your posts instead of posting multiple times one after another. Bumping is exempt from this rule, as long as it does not go against rule 8.

8. Thread necromancy:
We do not recommend Necroing topics, this is because some topics are not needed to be talked about again, we will not be locking topics anymore that get necro'd (unless they are completely useless). A necro counts if the last post was more than 30 days old from your post.
- EXCEPTION : Threads that are necro'd but on topic are allowed, so please do not discourage the new members from making good posts.

9. Duplicate topics:
Do not make multiple topics of the same subject. We only need one conversation about a topic, duplicate topics will be merged with other topics. Obvious duplicate threads will be merged immediately; for less obvious topics moderators will decide on the bases of the path the topic is taking. If it is found to be heading in a different direction to its similar topic, it will be left on its own.

10. Signatures and Avatars:
You may have signature images as long as they do not stretch the forum width wise. The total size of all images in your sig should not surpass 550kb. Do not have YouTube videos in your sig, you can link to the video but do not embed it.

11. Supporting Banned Users:

Any form of support on banned users (eg: posting on their behalf) is not allowed.


Animations: Animated avatars and signatures are frowned upon - which is to say they may be removed without warning - especially those which flash between bright colors. Subtle animation is fine, but try not to make it anything too eye catching. Please mind the file size as well.

12. No piracy, hacking, raiding, fraud or spam:
This includes discussions or links regarding decompiling clients or packet sniffing that could harm user computers or accounts.

13. No outright pornography
Any sign of a pornographic image/origin will immediately be removed. Suggestive content may be removed as well, depending on how close it is to pornography.

14. Personal Info
Spread of your own personal info is at your own discretion, admins will not be responsible if someone uses your personal info after sharing it. Also, unless given rights to by the person, do not share another person's info under any circumstances!!

15. Account Trading and RMT(Real Money Trading)

Any form of account trading and RMT is strictly forbidden.

CHATBOX

16. Be respectful of others
Just like in threads, in the chatbox you should treat others as you wish to be treated. If you are arguing with someone, and others ask you to stop, please stop. Otherwise you will be given a warning should there be proof of the argument and possibly a temporary/full ban depending on the nature and content of the fight. For those seeing an argument, please screencap your screen and PM the argument to an admin so they can take appropriate action.

17. Do not spam the chatbox
This includes typing many pointless messages at once, or logging in and out constantly to "Watermelon" the chatbox. Abuse of this will result in a temporary 3-day ban.

18. Do not purposely "break" the chatbox
Sometimes you might post a very big image in the chatbox, or accidentally put in code that might make the chatbox not work properly. Accidents are okay and we hope you don't repeat that mistake. However, repeatedly breaking the chatbox on purpose will result in a permanent ban from the chatbox and a warning on the forum.

I'll add by saying if someone is harassing you in pm's take a screen cap of the messages and send then to an admin/mod, we'll take the necessary actions to try to ensure that you feel safe.

if you post images in the chat box either post the link or use spoilers, otherwise you can break the chatbox and people generally just dislike you for doing it

we do not allow the use of alternative forum accounts, if you are caught using an alt account it will be banned and your main account may suffer a warning

Rules have been heavily revamped - Several rules have been changed, modified, or merged into other rules. Rules have also been re-written to be more user-friendly to look like a human wrote them, rather than a robot. The following changes are:
