Tsundere or Yandere?

Yanderes...I haven't watched/read a good example of this to know if I like these, but my boyfriend loves 'em. I know Mirai Nikki has a yandere, so I gotta watch that. I never finished School Days. ;.; Makoto pissed me off in the anime, and the visual novel kept skipping scenes.

To be honest, I like Kuuderes more than anything. I can relate to them and seeing their sweet side just makes me wanna d'aww.

Thats a bad example of kuudere sounds to much like tsundere. A kuudere is a person whos cold to the point they come off as evil,But has one person they care about,And belittle other ppl but outa boredom will except ther challenge.

I'd never heard of a Kuudere? It pretty much sounds like a Tsun but with slightly less physical outburst.

As for Kain's comment, I don't think Ouka falls into any of these categories. Kain's just obsessed with Ouka @_@

Wat. It doesn't sound like tsundere.

Tsunderes are aggressive and hot-headed, Kuuderes are calm and logical. Opposites sides of the coin.

Though, sometimes kuuderes can say things that can be interpreted as a tsundere saying. Like Raven of Teen Titan's "I don't do fear" in Wicked Scary can be taken as a reworded tsun's denial.

But no. Tsundere =/= Kuudere. It seems similar because of how TVtropes broke it down on that page, I guess. But if you compare, say, Sakaki from AzuManga Daioh or Homura from Puella Magi Madoka to InuYasha from InuYasha or Sakura/Tsunada,Kushina from Naruto, Keiko from Yu Yu Hakusho, ect. , you'll realize they aren't the same thing.

A good example of a Kuudere? Toona/Raven from Rune Factory 3. She starts off cold, icy, and indifferent, but gradually warms up if you pursue her. She's a good example of a Type 2 Kuudere. Also, Ravennnnnnnnn.

A kuudere is basically a cold/frosty character that doesn't show emotions often/restrains them, but does have a warm side. You just have to work through the icy shell to get to the warm goodness. Tsundere is similar in the way that you have to usually go through an aggressive front, but they do care about the people around them (no matter how much they annoyingly deny it).

There are way too many tsunderes in comparison to kuuderes. :<

Kuudere cold hearted person you have to take a while to get to warm up, Kuudere type belongs more in animes And actualy teen titans cartoon raven shouldnt even count ravens about as kuudere as jean grey from mxen, Only evil when her fathers influence and demonic powers are in controll making her kill ppl.Yes litteraly kill, Sorta like jean grey with da Pheonix force. There are alot more kuuderes in comic than animes tho.

And I agree that the basis of most tsundere's actions/thinking is just...stupid and unrealistic. I mean, maybe it would fly in Japan, but...They have Tsundere Maid Cafes in Japan, where the girls rotate between being tsuntsun and deredere. The deredere side is okay, but...tsuntsun side...So much aggression...

I've seen extremely aggressive women, and it's a major turn off with all the insults and threats of violence and It just seems so unrealistic that any man/woman/whatever would put up with that for so long, especially if there's a lot of bopping on the head and such.

I just don't understandddddd.
