Is tuning parts/weapons really worth it?

I don't want to inflate my cost for a stat boost, with the risk of parts breaking.

I guess that if you want to tune, you should tune the parts of your bot that are easily available and not rare.

Another thing is, what's the best UC weapon/part can you buy in the shop that can be traded with Crimrose in the bottom floor for points?

Cost vs. efficiency thread that I started, read in general section, basically the same thing.


Jikun Hu/Lily Rain UC can be best traded to Crim for points.

Also, the desert stage of Arcantus: Farm Blocky BDs; they sell well.

If tuning were a bad idea, I'd question how it is that the clan with the best tuned, best built bots won the last clan tournament. The only time you can consider tuning a waste is if you're piling on tunes that you're neglecting to use properly (i.e. tuning range on a rifle, but not being able to consistently hit at the new range).

Lily Rain and Jikun Hu are both worth nearly 800 points after selling all their parts, iirc.
