What is card hopping?

Please enlighten me on this supposedly "cheap" tactic. :X What's so good about it ect.

Hopfags that use Domiclown AM3 (card arm) and Short Boost+Quick Land+Trump Card to victory.


However, it is my understanding that said card arm has been nerfed pretty bad from the beta days, and is not as viable as a hopfag strategy anymore (though it can still work).

You're forgetting Lancerlot's K-shield.

Cards are derp now since they don't home (or at least the homing ability has been reduced from psybeam to derpbanger missile)

The cards used to work differently.

You just press the button and a kind of invisible object spawns that automatically shot five cards in the direction of the nearest enemy, so you could run/hop past people and shoot cards without even trying to aim.

Now they pretty much fire in the direction you were aiming.
