Story Time Thread - Release your imagination

Soljetter was what my heroic lover Mecha Jetter supposedly "became" after he nearly died protecting me from a single powerful shot from Chaos which caused all his armour disintegrate, all his sensors to rupture, all his limbs to be torn away from his mechanical body, including his head. I searched frantically in the rubble for his motherboard, Central Processing Unit, and Memory core and I did manage to find them. But when I took them to the research facility, the researchers told me that his memory core suffered massive damage. They had to rebuild it, almost every component from scratch. Tragic story be spoken, they upgraded everything, his parts were brand new, nothing was left of him, NOTHING! And so, nothing was ever the same again...

Mecha Jetter was a mechanical body piloted by a soul, a soul that could leave its body. Its human counterpart was my boyfriend, the brave yet delicate, strong but frail beautiful young man about my age who could transfer his mind, soul and spirit into the mechanical body, His name was Luke Aerius. Everyday I would go to his near death human body, hoping for a miracle that he could wake up. One day, I gave him my first kiss as he lay there unconscious. Suddenly, I heard a loud beep, I stared at the life support monitor in horror as the heart rate monitor began to beep rapidly, my heart was trembling, my hands were hoplessly gripping onto Luke's hand as tight as they could as if they didn't want Luke to leave. In a few seconds, the rapid beeping became a high pitched drowning tone which pierced my ear drums. It was the signal of his departure, my hands could not stop it, Luke my dear lover was dead.

I frantically rushed to the research facility where Mecha Jetter was rebuilt as Soljetter, I intruded, I sneaked in without authorised access, into the laboratory, and activated the walking mechanical mass of advanced technology.

I asked it "What is your name?"
The sensors on his head scanned my eyes, could this be a human soul's instinct?
"I'm Soljetter, the successor of the model of robot commonly known as Mecha Jetter"

Tears started flowing out of my eyes, my heart nearly stopped.

"But, isn't your name Luke? What happened to your human soul?!"
"Sorry, Young Lady, my name is not Luke, I am Soljetter, and I have been programmed to imitate the soul of young "Luke", who I presume now he has passed away?"
"No! It can't be true! You are Mecha Jetter "Luke" who was resurrected, and rebuilt with the Memory core!"
"I am a new model; I have new internal parts, a new motherboard, a new Central Processing Unit..."
"Wait... It can't be, you have a..."
"A new memory core"

When that walking mechanical mass of advanced technology said those words I burst into tears, I cursed, I screamed at the top of my lungs. My dear Luke, Luke "Mecha Jetter" Aerius, did not become the Soljetter. The researchers had extracted the data from the memory core that contained the data gathered moments before he was annihilated; they created a new robot that imitated his soul. What could a girl like me possibly do now? My boyfriend has died! His memories were not brought into a new body; they threw his old and half destroyed memory core into the recycling machine! He is not a Mecha Jetter successor, I have realised that the robot that stood before me was Soul Jetter, the robot developed from a dead soul of a beautiful young boy who promised me that we would have a life together, who would bend down and kneel, offer me a gold ring and say...

"I love you, please accept my offer. I ask you Alexis, for your hand in marriage"

But that is all too much to wish for now. He won't be able to fulfil his promise anymore; I don't blame him for it. It was Chaos that ripped him into small bits and no one seemed to care, not even the researchers, except for his now lonely and devastated girlfriend with the pink hair, and that girlfriend was me but now the colour has faded away, all that is left is this glossy silvery grey. I cried until my insides churned with absolute agony, I cursed with all my wrath until my lungs could breathe no more and screamed until all the colour in my hair was lost. Soon, before I noticed, I blacked out, cold.

I woke up in a hospital bed, wishing that it was all just a dream, I looked around and right next to me. The doctors were taking Luke's body away, pushing his hospital bed away, seperating me and him.

"Luke Aerius, How unfortunate for him to die. Dispose of his body immediately!"

I was not about to let that happen, and tried to jump out of bed, but I couldn't, I realised that I was on life support, but I had to force my body to move before they take Luke away. I ripped out all the tubes which were keeping me alive, lept out of bed with all of my remaining strength and I feebly ran after the doctors and Luke's bed. As the doctors carted him away, I chased them in the corridor, they didn't even bother look back at me, just when I got close to Luke and the doctors, I collapsed on the floor. I bit my lip and began to crawl, as I crawled on the ground, my right hand reached out for Luke's bed. I was losing my strength, the closer I tried to get to Luke, more strength burst out and escaped my body. My eyes were going black, I was starting to pass out, I reached, I struggled, I reached, I struggled and kept on reaching out, and kept on struggling towards Luke's bed. Just when I thought I was about to pass out, I used the last of my strength to scream.

"LUKE!!! WAKE UP!!! PLEASE WAKE UP!!! YOU'RE NOT DEAD!!! PLEASE TELL ME YOU'RE OKEY!!! PLEASE TELL ME THAT YOU ARE ALIVE AND RECOVERING!!!" PLEASE WAKE UP NOW!!!"

The nurses lifted me up, and dragged me away. I did not want to part from my precious Luke. I struggled free and all I could remember after escaping from the nurses' restraining grips was that I ran and grabbed Luke's hand, held him to my cheek, and whispered to him

"I love you Luke, please don't die, don't leave me..."

I then felt a needle in my arm, it was a tranquiliser dart, I collapsed as my consciousness faded away...

A few months later I was realised from the hospital, I went home, or at least where Luke and I called home. I looked at the all photos that were hung up and ripped them off the walls, all my precious memories, everything I held dear, I burnt. Every trace, every single proof of his very existence erased with a fire. I took them with me as I went into the forest to bury the ashes of burnt memories at a secret place. Where only Luke and I could enter, where only we could be alone together. I erected his gravestone, and showered it with flower seeds, and I go there every day just to water them, and provide my love and affection, I take care of them as if they were my own children.

I returned home, and went straight to my room and I sat on the couch, sunk my face into the palms of my hand and began sobbing.

"Why Luke, why did you leave me? You promised me, that we'll be together! How can you break this promise?"

At the time, I couldn't control my depression. It spread like a cancer through my entire body. I was trembling and I didn't know what to do. There was nothing left for me in this world, and so I thought to myself.

"Luke, I'm coming for you"

I went to the kitchen, grabbed a sharp and deadly knife and pointed it to my throat, my whole body trembled. Slowly, I closed my eyes, and gradually tried to sink the knife into my throat. I stuck the tip of it into my neck, and I felt a warm scarlet haemorrhage flow out. I bit my lip, as the immense pain forced my brain empty. I continued to push the knife in, but my hands wouldn't do as they are told. Suddenly I heard a voice, a familiar voice, the voice of someone I've been longing for...

"Stop Alexis"

I opened my eyes, and I saw a glowing figure materialising before me. Millions of radiant and almost blinding white particles of light suddenly appeared and fused together into one body. The figure held my wrist, its hands were warm.

"Luke? Is that you?"

The blinding light began to fade, and there he was, Luke was standing before me. I was astonished, and I didn't know what to say.

"Alexis, don't do this. Suicide isn't worth it"

I stared at him dumbfounded, rubbed my eyes and asked him

"Am I dreaming?"
"Maybe, I'm not quite sure"
"What do you mean you're not quite sure?"
"I don't know if you're sleeping or not, but what matters is that I'm here"

In an instant, I dropped the knife. I instinctively rushed off the couch to embrace him. I couldn't believe it, Luke is here with me! My tears just won't stop flowing, leant on his chest crying.

"There there, Alexis. Aren't you glad to see me?"
"You idiot! I was so worried about you! Why did you leave?"
"I had no choice, my body was perishing because my spiritual connection to it was shattered and my astral energy which keeps me connected with this world is dissipating so I've returned to spend my final moments with the precious person I love more than anyone else in this world"

I was speechless, I couldn't say anything. I tried to find the words, but when I did find them, by throat will not let me speak. Luke was looking into my eyes, at that time, I could see more than just his smooth skin, his brilliant blue feminine eyes, the smooth silky blue hair, and the soft pink lips. Even though we have been living with each other for a long time, I still blush at the sight of him, even the thought of him made me blush.

"So Alexis, Please don't die, please stay strong" Luke pleaded to me.
"How can I be strong and live without you? I'm powerless, I'm nothing without you!"
"Please Alexis, I just want you to have a happy life. I'm limited by the time I have left in this world, but you Alexis, have your whole future in front of you."
"But..."
"I would not dare to wonder what would happen if I didn't stop you. If I didn't you wouldn’t' be able to fulfil your dream..."
"...of becoming a hero?"
"That's right! That is why I want you to stay strong, Uhh..."

Luke's cheeks suddenly exploded with redness, he looked away. I could tell that he was hiding something, and he was about to reveal it to me.

"Uh… There's also something I want you to have, Alexis"

He kneeled down, nervously and slowly opened a jewellery box, his hands were shaking. He was forcing his own eyes to meet mine.

“A diamond ring, Alexis my love. Will you marry me?” Luke said tensely

I didn't know what to say, I was again speechless. My heart was throbbing with excitement, it was beating so hard in my chest as if it wanted to break out of it's ribcage prison. When I finally found the words, they clogged up in my throat and I nearly choked. When all else failed, I resorted to the signalling of approval through the nodding of my head. He stood up, and slipped a ring onto my left ring finger. With one swift movement, I embraced him. His warm chest was a sweet pleasure to experience for the final time, it seemed endless. Even though it was our final moment together, it felt like an eternity. My lips drew closer, closer and closer to his, and his were slowly closing in on mine. When we finally kissed each other for the second and final time, I suddenly realised that I was sleeping on the couch, the whole room was very bright. It was morning, and the sun was already so high. I checked my neck to see if there was a knife wound, but it wasn't there. I got up, to brush my teeth. I looked at my face in the mirror, and I smiled to myself. Luke was right, I do have a cute and warm smile. I picked up the glass with my left hand and to my surprise, what I saw made my mind go blank.

I was wearing the exact same diamond ring Luke slipped onto my finger in my dream.

After breakfast, I went to my room and sat there staring at my favourite birthday gift. Luke's boosters, his boots, gloves, and that helmet, everything that made him resemble Mecha Jetter; I often think back and remember that I laughed with joy when I saw him wear that costume for the first time.

"Hahahaha, Luke, this costume you created makes you look like Mecha Jetter!"
"Yes it does, but it isn't just any costume"
"What is it then?"
"A fully equippable battle equipment set that can enable you fight like a Mecha Jetter. It's not my equipment set though..."
"It's not yours? Then who owns it?"
"It's yours Alexis, Happy Birthday!"
"Woah, really?!"
"Yes! It's for you, I made it to resemble the Mecha Jetter since you like him so much"
"Thank you Luke, Can I try them on?"
"Sure, here's the body suit that comes with it"
"Huh? There's a rectangular hole in the chest area!"
"Uh... that's uh... for... You know..."
"Awww... Luke you pervert! You fantasize about my cleaveage don't you? You just don't want it to be covered up!"
His faced blushed, It was the cutest thing I ever saw with my own eyes. I smiled, and gave him a cuddle with his face planted right inside my cleavage.
"I love you Luke"
"I uh... um... love you too Alexis"

They now serve as a momento of him, I will always wear them, not as his wife Alexis Aerius, but as Mecha Jetter Girl, the final legacy of Luke Aerius.

After a few months of being released, Cosmic Break had slowly declined. Only a few users were still playing. Lily had never before noticed 'Channel 6', and curiosity got the best of her. Powerful energy engulfed her as she was teleported to the central area. She looked around and noticed just how empty it was, it appeared that she was completely alone. Not a single mech could be found, even the non-hero bots that usually occupied the area were nowhere to be found.

"Hello?"

Nothing. She suddenly felt uneasy and alone, she walked around in search of anything, or anyone. After a few minutes had passed, she began to feel scared. She sat down by the empty mission counter and checked her map, her eyes widened and she felt a shiver down her neck. A lone air unit showed up on her map, it was a distance away from her yet it slowly moved closer and closer. She started looking in the direction and saw a lone figure, she felt tense and afraid.

"Who are you?! D-Don't come any closer!"

...

"Stay away!"

She felt as if this was some sort of nightmare, she summoned the strength to leap over the mission counter. now huddled in fear, Lily was too afraid to peak over the counter.

After what seemed like an eternity, Lily wiped the tears from here eyes and checked her map. The air unit was still there. She slowly looked over the counter, and was relieved to see a familiar face.

"...C-Crim?"

...

"Is that you?"

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to scare you..."

Lily sniffled and slowly stood up, wiping her face.

"That wasn't very nice..."

She noticed Crim had been crying as well.

"I... I was afraid I was the only one here..."

Lily managed a smile.

"D-Dummy... that's my line!"

Seemingly out of nowhere, GM_Tempura burst from the ground. Rocks and debris littered the ground and the once quiet channel now echoes with the screams of Lily and Crim as they hugged each other in fear.

BUY RT! BUY RT! BUY RT!

And then they all died, and Cosmic Break exploded, and then the universe imploded.

Bad End

The war with Chaos...
It has been a long time since it started...
The end is yet in sight...

The memories of the first assault to the Cosmic Ark is still fresh in my core.
The sounds of alarms roaring in the air as the shields of the Ark shattered into pieces under Chaos' mighty sword.
The barriers disappeared, life support systems failing. The biological beings were evacuated as us robots held the forces of Chaos to buy them time.
I was there.

The mighty A.Sura, known as the Thousand Armed God. I fought alongside the three legendary Arks, Bladine, Dostrex, and Wizdom.
Along with the other bots we fought the forces of Chaos back.
We pushed them deep into the Dark Space Region.

But it was a trap.

Chaos has prepared an ambush. An army a hundred times the size of ours.
Our Aquilas got shot down, our Destructors and Contradicts impaled.
Even the mighty Daedalion was getting worn out, his frame full of dents and holes.

But hope was not lost.
Ten thousand robots of Chaos, one thousand arms of mine.
For a hundred grueling hours I fought the endless wave of darkness.
And yet I was still standing.

It was apparent that Chaos was not pleased with the outcome.
Engulfed in a dark flame, he appeared before me. His mighty sword lifted upon me.
My arms locked in combat with his minions, my shields already failing.
For a moment, I knew it was the end.

As his gigantic sword impaled me through my chest, I could feel my energy core failing.
In a desperate attempt, I directed all my remaining arms at him, holding him in place.
And it was then, Bladine finally sliced through the darkness with his sword.
Behind him Dostrex and Wizdom firing towards Chaos.

And everything faded...

It was not until recently was I found.
Floating inactive in the empty Dark Space Region.
I was brought back to the Ark, my core refitted in a new body.

It is not a powerful frame.
But to protect others from suffering my fate, I shall fight once more.
I, Cannon Baller, vow to protect the Cosmic Ark forever more.

"GET OUT OF THERE! EVACUATE EVERY NON-COMBATANT!"

Screams ringing through the air, people running for their own lives. Fires raging through out the horizon and smoke filled the skies. Everything was red and orange. Moans, groans of the injured were everywhere, cries from those who had lost their loved ones before their very eyes filled the air. Everything was in ruins, everything was broken down.

Fear. Pain. Sadness. Anxiety. Anger. Death. Everywhere was chaos. People running, stampeding over anyone that was unfortunate to trip and fall over. Years of peace, over in a night. Standing there within the flames, the red eyes that pierces the human soul and chills down the spin. The Demonfox, Haku, was spreading chaos throughout the city.

What could have happened? Who summoned the Demonfox? How was this happening? Questions raced through the girl's mind as she ran for her life. Everything that she once held dear was gone, her entire family perished. There was nothing felt but anger in her heart. Hatred was her only emotion. Why? Why does it have to be her family? Why was she so useless? Why she could not do anything? She hated herself for it. Soon, she was engulfed by her thought and unaware of her surroundings, she tripped and fell. Snapping out of her thoughts, she cursed under her breath and took a look at what she tripped over.

A body. A dead dismembered body of someone unknown to her. Screaming her lungs out, she wept. Pushing away the kind hands that tried to help her, the girl punched the ground and cursed. Everything was gone. There was nothing left for her as she recalled the past..

"Kamui-chan!"

"Oi, Kamui-chan!!"

A girl was calling out to her.

"Huh?" Kamui snapped out of her train of thoughts and answered her friend.

"Gosh, are you thinking about him again? It seems like it's only him that you always think about these days" The girls teased her as Kamui blushed.

"Alicia, that's enough. What's up?" Regaining her composure, she brushed her hair and asked.

"Nothing, just wondering. Neh, Kamui-chan..."

"Hmm?"

"You're from the Izuna family right?"

"Uh huh.."

"Is it possible if you teach me about kokkuri-san?"

"Su... WAIT WHAT?!"

"You know... Kokkuri-san, the divination..."

"NO! You know I will never teach you and what happens when you play kokkuri-san"

"Haaaii... I understand..." Alicia sulked.

"Now, let's grab some cake?" Kamui pulled Alicia's hand along, dragging her.

Soon, the two left for a nearby cafe to have tea. Kamui invited Alicia to her place for a stay-over for the night as she needed help with homework. Alicia was keen on staying over at the Izuna's because they were weird to her. However, an idea struck her. If she had went over, she would be able to read the books on how did kokkuri-san worked and got what she wanted. Trying hard to hide her intentions, Alicia agreed. Thus, they both left for home after tea and decided to meet later in the evening at Kamui's house.

Later that evening, Alicia showed up and they started working on their homework. Despite feeling uncomfortable, Alicia decided to overcome her fears for the sake of her goal.

There were many rumours revolving the Izuna household that wherever they went, death ensued or that they are practicing dark magic arts. Hence, people always avoided them. However, that was far from fact. The truth is that the Izuna family line was sensitive to spirits and supernatural beings. Because of this, they are able to see, speak and help spirits out. They are also able to call forth blessings from Divine Beings and all sort of supernatural abilities. Hence, being able to deal with the supernatural, people who do not know, shunned them and avoided them. Kamui was always being bullied because she was an Izuna, however, she did not curse her own life. She was able to see the good in things and despite being bullied, the spirits that were her friends, always cheered her up or helped her in ways more than one.

It was not till 6th grade that she meant Alicia and that they have been friends ever since. Although Alicia did not mind Kamui, she still found the Izuna house a little eerie.

Soon, night fell and they had finally finished their homework. Feeling tired, both girls decided to turn into bed early.

Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick.

Time slowly crawled by.

"Kamui. You awake?" Alicia whispered.

"Kamui?" She prodded Kamui's cheek. Kamui tossed for a bit before falling back asleep. Smiling to herself after seeing Kamui's reaction, Alicia stood up and went to Kamui's bookshelf. Being an Izuna, Kamui was forced to read books regarding the supernatural.

"K...k... Kokkuri-san.. Ah! Found it" Alicia trying to keep her voice down, read the book and recorded the step down onto her notebook.

The next morning, after doing their daily routine, both girls went to school. And time started to crawl by.

During lunch time, Alicia was seen talking to her group of friends but Kamui was not paying any close attention to them as she was not interested in girl gossips.

------

Soon, it was the afternoon. Kamui wanted to bring Alicia to another cake shop but since Alicia declined. she would head there by herself.

Half way down the trip to the cake shop, there a huge beam of light that covered the school building and suddenly, there was a huge explosion. Worried about Alicia, Kamui sped off back to school as fast as she could.

She had a very bad feeling.

Huff, puff. Kamui panted as she ran. Avoiding the debris, she saw many people hurt and paramedics trying to help. The beam of light was still there, in the middle of the destruction. She rushed towards it and to her horror, she found Alicia in a pool of blood and 8 other girls around her. Dropping her bag, Kamui held Alicia in her arms and screamed for help.

"ALICIA! ALICIA! Are you ok?" Kamui screamed. "SOMEONE HELP!!"

"K...K...Kamui-chan..." Alicia smiled.

"Alicia! What happened?"

"I'm sorry..."

Just then a scream was heard. One of the girls was getting sucked into the beam of light and something that looked like a tail was being formed. When the girl disappeared completely into the light, a solid tail-like object formed and immediately, another girl was being sucked in. One by one, the girls were sucked in and tails formed. Alicia was the last one. Grabbing her tightly and pulling her away, Kamui tried to save her friend. However, as she tried to escape, Alicia let out a scream.

A claw had grabbed onto Alicia's legs and dragging her in. Kamui held on with all her strength but was losing.

"I'm not going to lose here." Kamui closed her eyes. "KAI!" She said out loud and her hair turned from black to yellow and her eyes glowed yellow. Kamui called forth the favor of the Divine Beings to grant her strength. Just as she was succeeding on pulling Alicia free, suddenly there was a scream from Alicia and she was sucked into the light. In her hands now were the arms of her best friend which had been sliced off. Then there was a low rumble and the beam of light dispersed and blinded Kamui. As the area slowly returned to normal, there was a being with nine tails floating where the beam of light was.

Kamui's eyes opened wider and she stuttered.

"D-d-demonfox, Haku..." Dropping the arms, she scrambled for her life but Haku swung its staff and swiped Kamui into a wall, knocking her out. It started to float towards Kamui. Slowly but surely, closing in. Reaching out it's arm, it was about to grab onto Kamui, someone shouted at it. It was a shine buster. However, before it could do anything, a swish was heard and its head rolled onto the ground. Losing interest in Kamui, Haku levitated off and started raining destruction onto the city.

Regaining consciousness, Kamui saw that her entire city was in flame and chaos was everywhere. People running over other people and screaming for their lives. Injured were left to die without help and death was lingering around. Picking herself up, she rushed towards her house.

As she was nearing her house, she stopped dead in her tracks. Her home was destroyed. Her family was strewn all over the floor like garbage. Nothing was left alive. Kamui had just lost everything...

"PRINCESS KAMUI! ARE YOU ALL RIGHT?" A shout brought her back to reality. "Princess Kamui!"

She turned and saw that it was one of the branch family guards.

"Princess Kamui, please follow me. We'll ensure your safety. What about your parents?"

"They're dead... Everyone..."

" . . ." Silence fell after that sentence as she followed the guard.

"Don't worry, we're working on sealing the Demonfox now. Please take some rest"

As he spoke, there was a loud roar that reverberated throughout the city. Surrounding Haku were people chanting and large golden chains were binding it.

"It won't be long before he is sealed. Don't give up" The leader of the priests encouraged the group. Suddenly, before the seal was complete, Haku disappeared. And blood spurred out. The head priest was killed along with 2 other priests. It turned out that the Haku they bound was a shadow clone. Fearing for their lives, the other priests scrambled and ran.

Haku let out another roar as if to show off its anger.

"Princess Kamui, let's hurry..."

Hastening their steps, Kamui thought about running away when she remembered what her mother told her.

"Kamui. Sometimes, there are moments where a woman must take up the leadership role and do her best. Don't give up. Don't run. Do your best."

"Kamui, this is how to seal the Demonfox Haku. Long ago, your great great grandparents did this to seal the Demonfox and brought peace to the city."

"Kamui... Kamui... Kamui..."

She clenched her fists as the tears fell. She felt like a coward for running, she felt useless for not doing anything. Her life. Her situation. Her family. She refused to accept them before. She refused to accept that she was a princess from the Head Family. She refused her own familyline. She cursed, she did not want to be an Izuna. She wanted to be normal. Even when she was bullied, she depended on Alicia to help her, to always be there for her but she could not save her best friend when Alicia needed help. She was nothing. She could do nothing.

Letting a loud scream, she punched the wall as hard as she could. She whimpered but bit her lower lip soon after. Rubbing her tears, Kamui hardened her heart. She clenched her fist tighter.

"I'll do it..." She whispered.

"Sorry, princess?"

"I'll do it. I'll seal the Demonfox!" She declared loudly.

"But princess! By sealing it, you'll lose everything... By everything, it means your emotions as well. You'll not be able to feel love, happiness, sadness, anger..."

"I've lost everything already..." Just then, she remembered her crush. Errende. The one that she has always been looking out for and thinking about. Was she willing to give up those feelings as well? Was she willing to give up those happy times she had or she could have with Errende? So many questions but she pushed them at the back of her mind.

"I'll still do it... For this city... For the ones I loved... For Errende..."

"Gather the remaining priests. I'll brief everyone how to do it."

"Yes, Princess Kamui!" The guard rushed off to gather the remaining 6 priests.

After briefing the group of priests, Kamui was even more determined to seal Haku.

"Everyone ready? Let's go!" She commanded and rushed towards Haku.

------

It was not difficult to track Haku at all as it was destroying everything and anything in its path. Soon, she was near Haku.

"HAKU!" She called out.

Haku turned and saw Kamui.

"You wanted me right? COME AND GET ME!" Kamui turned and ran as Haku chased her.

Running towards the planned area, she was leading Haku to be trapped and sealed. After she passed the designated area, she turned and the plan started.

Haku had stepped onto a rune that was placed on the ground and soon, bright golden chains bounded it. The priests started their chanting and Haku was screaming in pain.

It was not as effective as the group earlier as they had lost men in their first attemt in sealing Haku. It struggled and was about to break free when Kamui started her sealing.

"KAI!" As she called forth the favor of the Divine Beings.

With that, she pointed her middle and index fingers while putting her hands at Haku. Moving her hand downwards, she started to chant.

"RIN!"

A sharp but calm sounding bell rang.

"PYO"

Another bell ring. Each time she said a syllable, a bell would ring.

"TO!"

"SHA!"

"KAI!"

"JIN!"

Suddenly, a voice spoke to her in her mind.

"Kamui! Are you sure you want to do this? Are you sure you want to seal me?" It was the demonfox, Haku speaking to her. Ignoring it, Kamui continued.

"RETSU!"

"Kamui, you'll lose all your feelings. You'll lose the one that you love the most. Do you want that?" Kamui flinched a little but she continued.

"ZAI!"

"Stop this. If you do, I'll bless you with him forever. You'll have a really good relationship with him. You'll have his children. You two will be married. I can do that." Kamui wavered and Haku saw this as a chance, broke free and was about to attack Kamui when...

"BEGONE DEMON! NO MORE TRICKERY FROM YOU. I'VE MADE UP MY MIND. WHETHER I LOSE MY FEELINGS OR NOT, AS LONG AS THE CITY I LOVE IS SAVED. EVERYTHING IS WORTH IT!"

"ZEN!"

And bells were heard ringing as Haku roared in pain as a beam of white light engulfed him and disappeared. As it was over, Kamui heaved a sigh of relief but a voice rang through her head.

"Don't forget, I'm sealed within your body. I'll take over your body the moment you show a sign of weakness." With that, the voice ended in a maniacal laughter.

Standing up, Kamui heard someone calling out for her.

She turned around and saw him. It was Errende.

"Kamui! Are you all right?"

". . . I'm fine." She said as she turned away from him.

"Is it ok, if I talked to you for a little?" Errende grabbed her hand.

"What is it?" Kamui was indifferent.

"After whatever that happened, I realized something."

". . ."

"Kamui, I love you. Will you please go out with me?" Errende held her hand tighter as he confessed to her. He blushed.

Taking a deep breath, Kamui turned around and looked at Errende in the eye.

"I'm sorry. I can't go out with you." With that, she took her hand back and followed the guards.

"Kamui, why?"

"There is no reason of why. I just can't go out with you."

"Is it because you hate me?"

Kamui turned and slapped Errende across the face.

"Stop this at once. You're being annoying. Leave now! I never want to see your face again." With that, she hastened her steps while leaving a very stunned Errende.

As she walked, she held the hand that slapped him tight.

Tears sparkled and and fell from her eyes as she walked off into the sunset.

From then on, she was given the title "Nagi" and known as Izuna Kamui Nagi for sealing the Demonfox, Haku, inside her body.
