Got this guy from the new UC Garapon, never really played arts before this guy, and thus, have never tuned one. So, I need some help. What tunes do I go for, and is it worth putting handheld weapons on him?

Do you have Antlion BS2 (from Antlion Moray)? I heard that works really well on him.

If you really want and manage to get high TGH with 40 tec it would be cool, but it's really not necessary...

it's something that I would try just because I love high TGH builds.

No. And str/tec only affects the duration of wb. using/activating has nothing to do with it

has anyone actually posted about the fundamentals about agni after release of core tunes? I always thought it was common knowledge, but i guess when i see people tuning for 40 walk, that is not true.

Firing Agni rockets builds up heat and sets you on fire. fire some more and you enter melt. when you are on fire in general, you have set in stone walk/fly, with i believe is 20/40 walk/fly. normally, you take some real damage while on fire and can't turn properly. however, agni has HYPER RADIATOR cart, allowing it to turn normally and take less damage. Break through for agni comes with the core tune Burning Runner, allowing additional speed while he is on fire.

How does agni go so fast? boost run with the above things listed. heck, if it flew while on fire, it still go faster than conventional air with 38 fly.

does moray BS agni work? duh, Moray BS works in general. It sometimes feel as if Moray BS degenerate any art bot into just the booster.

41 fly while burning, if you want to get technical about it(same speed as seraph wings/shaden booster/etc/etc which is outside of normal tuning limits, aka beyond 40)

Moray BS is pointless on agni. The main draw of moray BS is that it makes it harder to airs to run away, but this is useless on agni because he's already faster than airs and can chase them down. As such it is better to select a weapon with a focus on damage output and chase airs down because they cannot go faster than you and thus cannot escape on a large number of maps.

I replaced one of the handhelds with my old x3 G-rapid Ballistic Launcher. It's fun as fvck
