1. Yes.
2. Phase 1 isn't burning, you want to spam his missiles until he start to burn, which takes about 3x5 volleys from the word go.
3. He either fires or he doesn't, if Str is 0 the WB will run out before the blast even happens, effectively changing it to simply a burn reset. Anything above 0 is the same.

also can double blast shoot up?

no, it can only ever shoot straight forward in a horizontal line, you can jump, but keep in mind that the blast will face any direction you are moving towards because you aren't actually firing any weapons, and unlike walking, you will always face the direction you are flying.

Good question. No matter what you do, the hitbox will always be projected forward.
