Most of my melees are below 600 HP what the hell gave the standard of 700+

If you used to have abt. 600 HP on your melees, you will end up with 700 after armor drive :^)

If I look at my Prome she could have abt. 700, if I would finish her. My Ivis has ca. 650 without any proper build.

...and then there is my purple Amlim who bests all of my melees in terms of HP together with Misty Capacityren and Munya, the girl who took the wrong drive. 700 HP isn't that unusual, if you actually like said unit enough to go through drive levels.

Most of my melee don't break 600 because I make it work and I'm not capa tuning to the moon to fit more hp

I normally get around 600-700 hp on everything i use with or without armor drive

Idk if anyone is capa tuning for HP at this point. You get so much HP as a secondary effect. Capa tunes are more about fitting in your favorite weapon tunes, or making your bot a meme. I.e.: I did a gcapa on my Amlim and now I can wield the Dreamy Blood Shooter - or at least that's why I use them.

also have red tier boost run and anti-homo bits besides the over 700 hp...

Honestly I thought the whole point of tuning melees is to reach at least 600 HP without capa, and probably somewhere around 800 with drives.

you don't reach 800 even with armor drive if your max is 600... I don't know where you are getting that idea.

MINIMUM 600. Usually it means around 700, more or less. And yes, with armor drive it means close to 800.

would be more more accurate to say between 700 ~ 800

HP has been really meta for a while now. I can't actually pinpoint what marked the shift, but coming back to what feels like a really burst-oriented meta now, HP/eHP feels even more valuable than when I last popped in. I'd definitely consider 480~550 to be a standard for even long ranged units IMO. Any less and you start restricting the dynamics your bot can safely work in.

Melees and mid/close ranged units are a bit more fuzzy though I'd say. Guard carts, shields, barriers, buffs that reduce damage, higher TGH values, etc. get more common, so their eHP rises despite what their HP value actually reads. I'd probably say for a bot with the average amount of these, 600~ is probably a good standard. For the units I've gotten around to inspecting, atleast. Of course, more isn't a bad thing if you can get it.

Past a certain point for most bots you run the choice of gaining offensive capabilities (weapon tunes, mobility options, etcetera) vs HP/eHP. Which is the more valuable choice then changes based on the bot and build, so it's likely a contextual standard. IMO.

I think the change started happening around Eris/Resha meta

and then after they started making gens a bit more common with disc and boxes
so yea i believe around that time
