This question is literally bugging me: Is Ouka some sort of "woman of pleasure" or brothel worker/owner? (in simple terms the P-word)

I'm asking because her non-combat outfit resembles the wear of typical "Oirans", and Dayu resembles Tayu (Tayu means a high level Oiran).

The main difference between the Oiren and the Geisha was the level of society they were in. Geisha were all over the place, and would dance for whoever paid. Oiren were specifically for the royal courts. They were more often seen as minor royals even though they didn't belong to the family...

Essentially, Geisha were more like exotic dancers, whereas Oiren were like the pop idols of their time. The acts were the same objectively, but the difference in status (and generally, skill) was huge.

Actually I misinterpreted a few things. If I remember correctly, and or interpreted to my friend correctly, Dayu is actually a honorable title (my friend is Japanese). Also, I did a little more research, and found out that her outfit sort of resembles "aristocratic wear", but since this is CB, the moe and cleavage factor was factored in, thus we have Ouka.
