Alcy problems

I don't understand how she works and how the carts work.

Seriously though, the carts keep saying BD@

What BD@? There is no BD@. But there IS a slot for an equippable item. I checked the gara and the gara one doesn't have anything there either. I got all 3 fancy carts but nothing has really changed apart from the fact that I can now take off faster.

I just don't get how it works? Am i supposed to get the BD@ from somewhere?

and why are my targets all disco?

mmm, as soon as i ALPHA, she gets that fancy buff... is she meant to be an alpha?

Shop Alcy doesn't have the Nova, I believe. That's probably the part you're missing.

As for alcy, so far, she seems quite interesting!

The buff that you get is the result of analyzing and hacking an enemy.

First you use analyze beam, and then you use hacking buster, which grants you the prop bit buff (and haste if you use on a zero type).
The symbol around you is there to tell you which type your analyze beam and Nova are set to, which changes the resulting explosion. The video shows that, and her HD explains what her analyze beam will do when hacking certain types.

Do note that you need the Level 2 carts for the weapons generate said effects.


The limited edition part is probably just for looks.

to me, she seems like she's built around her 2 weapons. however, taking them off, strapping 2 bses and some AIR weps on with the reboost cart is also a thing. so there's that...

Limited part won't do that because her carts already do it.
She doesn't really mode change, and even though her part says that it's a mode change part, those stats correspond to the stats that her ranged route gets. You can see that by looking at the ammo.

Gara version can do just fine with her weapon, provided she's tuned (though she won't be retarded tier, maybe).
Shop... I doubt that she can do much with 4~5 force, even though the beam splits.
But yeah, you get 6 reboost charges for 20 cost only.

Tried the shop version. And I think she goes well being an alpha.

... What does Analyze cannon NOVA do?  you get the nova shot as soon as you go G route.  I haven't been able to figure out what it does differently with the extra cart. Slow turn?

honestly I think there is some merit in an MB build, as you get to fire both of your weapons at once meaning you get your buffs without having to alternate, and you will get the boost restore with the hacking weapon constantly.

Using it once in a while to get the buff "faster", sure, but using her as MB? Doesn't sound that good to me.
But if you aren't using any other weapons, you won't really making her MB, just alphaing once in a while to get the buff (which won't trigger any faster, and you will be triggering tgh reduction and losing ammo for nothing if you can trigger it).

I haven't levelled my Alcy yet so carts are still unknown to me. Though you have a point, God is a Cat Girl.

BTW, am I the only that thinks that nova is rather crappy and can only hit targets standing still? Might not pick nova cart as it only changes the explosion, which isn't that good for now.

the main this is that it allows you to constantly refill boost gauge because hitting the hacking beam on a tagged target will restore boost. This would allow for a katalina alpha effect where you just never land even without prop bits, and you have your reboost on top of that.

Without having MB you'd have to stop doing damage in order to refill boost. This way you can do both at the same time, even if your damage is a bit lower.

A full on alpha build with cross shooters and possibly a kon bs might be going a bit far, but I honestly don't see why you would write it off as common cben stupidity. It's not like we are putting jet accels on sylvias, here.

What could i use outside of cross shooters for alpha build?

So, you can't just mb all the time, else you are better of with a kata since you won't be making full use of her weapon.
Btw, her damage is rather low as it is. Honestly I'd just rather abuse her range. Maybe mb only when enemy is too close and/or to hack. I just can't support going full alpha with her. Her capa isn't the best for that as well, and there's things on the shop that can do it better.

My points:
After Vanessa gains a buff her hacking blade ability is disabled for a while and you keep the current buff for a period of time. I do believe Alcy and Vanessa's hacking system work similarly. You can test it out easily though in training arena, hack a random lnd unit and then immediately try to hack a sup or air. Also there's a possibility for a buff hierarchy system such that a zero hack would always prioritize over the other 3 types, which just needs more testing
