Fantasy Robot Builds: Go nuts!

As a preface to this thread. This thread isn't for people to make builds and have others critique them. This thread is simply for fun, putting together crazy combinations you think up in your head that you think either look cool, think would be awesome to have, or that just plain aren't possible to make, but would be awesome nonetheless. Fun is rule number 1 here.

Though if you really must tell someone that you think their idea is utterly ridiculous, please -I implore you- to send that message via PM, or if you want to do so here. Be nice and thoughtful about it. We don't need to step on people's toes here.

There's no real set format for doing this for this thread, but if you must have one. Here is a basic format for the builds. Most of it is self explanatory.

It's pretty self-explanatory. There's no need to actually post the cost of the build, as it's a fantasy build, and if the build is impossible to make, there's no reason to post it anyway. No need to post Tune-Up info either. Just assume the parts have the appropriate Tune-Ups you think it would need. Remember: Fun is rule number 1.

Hoplites could use something like that, it's already a M ART that gets all the hopcarts and a barrier. It's a Baltheon-type barrier, though, so tough luck on hopping.

Also I've been clamoring for the ability to seize wonderbits on hit for quite a while, I don't care if it's a weapon or robot but it ought to have low force and decent speed, maybe also make it hijack hippos and barrier fields too so it becomes fairly useful all around instead of having a really limited niche. Robots with specialized wonderbits are good in their home environments anyway, only Hiverion, Nicole, Patty and Torte would really suffer from this. But then Patty and Nicole are popular in limited rooms and Pumpkin Pot is a massive bitch even after Gold Veil, so yeah.

In return, you get to block some bit dodging attempts, force propeller airs to retreat much sooner, take over the odd sniper unit, hamper hopping hypershot HEARTs, nullify any healing bit in one shot and utterly rape Persenachia, Lucca, Mialy and to some extent Misty Raven. I guess it should only steal one bit piece at a time and AURA should be out of bounds, as tempting as it is to stop a double Basca rampage in one fell swoop or tag a Mialy H with all six of her pursuit bits at once.

As for the bot type, Cyberoid and Paraboroid are both supposedly hackers and hacking is exactly the sort of thing that allows you to turn wonderbits back at their users, so those are prime candidates. Better as a support-only weapon though, so you can stick it on whatever you want. Either that or an unkempt hacker moebot who never leaves her basement and was only coaxed to join Cosmic Ark after being promised ten years' supply of cheap ramen. Also throws piss bottle grenades as a defensive weapon.

tl;dr I hate Mialy's guts and want to insert her pursuit bits full force in her mouth, ass and vagina.

I've always wanted a Momiji that was reskinned for Halloween. It would use a scythe, which would go well with ninja run as well as both paths' melee. Would be setting really cool, kinda like Deathsythe EW's armor.

Well, for what it's worth, I've had an idea stewing in my head now for awhile regarding a 4th bot in the Pulsardio series...; not based on any real parts, it'd be an all-new design...; I'd have to work out the numbers and such, but if I did, would anyone want to actually see it?

In the space that took you to tell about your Pulsardio variant, you could've described what it does and why the metagame needs what it does. I want the 5 seconds I spent reading this back.

And there's no need to list parts, just tell what you want the robot to do, i.e. "I want a Pulsardio variant that inflicts anti-radar in addition to disorder/bad homing because anti-radar is a cool but rare status and Pulsardio is a cool but rare robot".

Listing the parts is important because it lets people know what the parts actually are. Not everyone is as savvy on CB as some people, so it's only fair to show them the parts. I namely wanted fantasy builds that use parts that actually exist inside CB, but I guess I didn't clarify that...

All of these are Weapons Platform-type concepts. Proto is meant to reflect the armament of a RL Battleship, or similar to it. Type M is an all-out Missile Platform, and Type B is a Bazooka Platform.

He is detailing a robot variant, which can be built in a number of different ways. For those, there's no need to make up parts and you can just say what you want the robot to do in general, e.g. "melee-resistant hopper" (Nemlim series), "prebuilt alpha air" (Akane and Haruka), "Rouche variant with a barrier that repels enemies so that the barriers you throw down don't get swarmed by 20 Erises within seconds" (Mode:R) etc. For builds, obviously you need to list what the build is going to have.

But back on topic, Raclaboros with 4x Mediger arms and a Lucheer head or something for farming could be cool. Too bad he's so rare.
