Rush Job for Fanart - (Almost) Finished 5 minutes before deadline

Before even touching on photoshop, I need to buy a mouse.

But then, I got 1 exam left until I can relax (I'd still have jap and music but thats not a problem.)

Anyone that can draw with a touchpad is a god really...

A mouse is still rough for sketching... I use a Wacom brand pen tablet. Pen tablets are the absolute best for sketching in Photoshop, as you can (in a good one anyway) control the pressure and angle of the "virtual brush" in the program, allowing you to affect the lines naturally...

I got Wacom even though they're expensive because at the time, I used it for my job. Other tablet brands work quite well, though they don't generally have as much resolution or reliability from what I've read.

If you're interested, I use a Wacom bamboo tablet like this one, I personally like it better than the bigger one that came out recently (?)

I did think about adding in a broom but decided against it because her skirt would pretty much block it...unless i made the broom stick out from between her legs which might look a little wrong ^^'

Im too poor for a tablet. the cheapest one here is $130.

i dont have that money. i spent $120 on anime good now i have 80 left.Im planning to use a bit for rt too...

I don't know what part of the world you're in, but often, the off-brand pads cost in the 40$-60$ USD... I got my Wacom Pen and Touch Bamboo for around 120$ USD... But for beginning that's total overkill.

Heck, the one I've got might be overkill for me, too, but like I said, I was using it for my job, so it returned on the investment. Besides, at the time, I had that kind of money.

I'm working on a rather large project which is taking up all my photoshop time with many many pictures (this is where my Avatar is from). But I'm planning another submission for the Fanart contest before it ends so it will be updated soon

I actually wanted to submit something else which was far more epic for the contest but my comp broke down for a week leaving me no time to colour it. Instead I did this much simpler one, it's still a rush job and i submitted it 5 minutes before the deadline so some parts are not fully complete x_x
