Windows 8

Hello everyone, my questions are quite simple (maybe not so easy to answer tho :p)

I was wondering how well does CB run on windows 8?
If it does, what specs does it need?
If it doesn't, what do you recommend?

for specs, it's listed on the download page, scroll down a bit, however whether or not it will run on Win8, I don't know, as seeing that Win8 is not so old, compatibility might be a problem, this is the norm for new OSes, and the only thing you can do is wait, if it doesn't what I know is that it runs normally on WinXP, but I dunno about 2000 Vista, since the only people I saw had the game before ragequitting was using 7, I don't think 7 will be troublesome, so.... yeah, the only thing you can do is either
A. Wait for another player who tried it on Win8 or
B. Try it out yourself
But really, focus on the hardware specs first, try to be above the recommended if possible, minimum is only going to get you through the channel select screen without frustrating you with the lag, oh and one tip, close all possible programs before playing, that should boost your well..... non-lag capability, or something like that

runs in windows 8 64bit without problems for me.

@Aurum fullscreened as well? Cuz I remember a topic in some forum where FS was an "issue"
Also could you share your specs please? If it's not too much imposing hehe :p

i usually dont run cb in fullscreen because it looks ugly on 27inch fullscreen and is inconvienient
ill give fullscreen a try tomorrow and see if it causes issues for me.

specs would be kind of useless because while its not a high end gaming PC its still pretty close to that (the relevant parts for cosmic break at least, and the rest of it by tomorrow >.> ) the game however would run with a lot less powerful hardware
to get an idea of what hardware is necessary for CB youd need to find people where it starts to not ruin fluid anymore and ask about their specs (and plan for the game to become even more hardware hungry in time)

If you want to go fullscreen, use the option in the game, and always start with "safe mode", except if you exit the game at windowed view, everytime I try to start the game on fullscreen, it's always out of range and stays like that, until I reset my PC, might be just me though, as for Win8, shouldn't be much difference
