| So,yeah i need some help with my alpha air.
Currently it consists of: Vulder BD Tentrion HD Frau AM's Ace Braver LG and 2 beam rifles Its on level 1 or 2 right now, only capacity carts
This is in my second acc, where i don't charge rt, so... ANyway, what i want help with is: 1.What weapons are good for it(if those aren't fine)? 2.What carts should i get for it?(besides moving burst on level 9) 3.Also, what's the best/most convenient method of play for alpha airs?(now i fly around, unload a beam salvo then gtfo before something touches me OR i wait a bit for some LNDs at the ps and then kill em quickly OR a combination of both.(probably the last way))
Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance

| If you have a spare 17RT, go grab a Mecha Jetter and please be careful to not touch his girlfriend. |

| People, please don't derail this thread, it's about alpha airs, not what you do to your moebots. Also, the link tggt gave me does not really apply because: 1.I don't have any of those rt cores suggested 2.I don't have the rt parts suggested 3.I don't have the materials/luck/patience to take care of tunes till 38 fly etc. Also, can someone please answer the questions that are in the first post?(that's why i posted them there) On a side note, how much INT do beam rifles have? | |

| kk, being honest here, UC alpha airs just won't work and will always be a free frag in arena. Just don't do it... | |

| Assuming you're going to use that setup, Shortboost + Quickjump + Moving Burst + Accel Roll feel like a must. Focus on TEC or FLY. As for weapons, Flint Musket / Magnet Gun are good options and are also in the shop for some RT. | |

On a side note, how much INT do beam rifles have? Sorry, my guide goes as minimalistic as it can get. If you can't fit that, you can't make an alpha air that won't simply do better with a conventional build.

| Suguri, my build is as good as it can get for me, my alpha air is conventional for me at my current level(second acc-still square rank)-I usually go about 200 over my cost when i play properly(these things don't survive long without ammo issues), but thanks for the advice anyway.
Trill, thanks, some worthwhile info that applies to me. Maybe i'll uc to rt for the other flint musket(got one from lotto)
Also, would fast-firing shell-type weapons be good for handheld weapons or is a full beam arsenal fine?

| It's fine either way. The weapon has to be fast and have enough range.
I'll vouch for the cores that Suguri didn't list in the diary entry. Tesladonna MB Air on Alt is... self-explanatory.

It depends on your overall build intention, but in 19 cases out of 20 yes. - Breaker-Z wrote:

Also, would fast-firing shell-type weapons be good for handheld weapons or is a full beam arsenal fine? I think you're misinterpreting what I'm saying. If you don't have (a minimum of) six main weapons with one of them preferably being raystag hd, you'd be more effective going 40 tec 38 fly and using a beam shooter mod or plasma gun or etc. on the core instead. I tried the poverty alpha route a long time with XX Cross Raptor using tentrion hd + frau arms + flint musket + cross shooter, I speak from experience. I guess if you're using it for the playstyle instead of effectiveness though there isn't really anything I can say. I'd recommend a magnet gun/beam gun/wide beam gun/handy magnum for the other hand instead of a second flint musket, unless you don't mind having all low-ammo weapons.

Lol, the Xx crossraptor thing is wat im trying to use right now. Kinda hard to aim with it. He's probably playing diamond rooms so I guess it shouldn't be a problem if hes not a derp.

There's a factor there also involved in the whole Pacifar/Tonitrus>Air Raider thing, but I won't get into specifics because I accidentally deleted my diagrams. But yeah, I didn't include XX Cross Raptor on that list for several reasons. You'd be *much* better off using him for non-alpha (my personal preference is hop carts, core for anti-lnd, mini zook for antiair, MMBG for powerspots/trees/fatties).

Technically Tonitrus by virtue that he's the only one of the three in a static gara. Pacifar and Air Raider are in daily pretty often though (Pacifar will be in daily for the next 38 minutes)

| Both are gold RT gara prizes, Tonitrus is currently on Robo Gara 2, so guess hes "easier"
Might as well roll for wing gara instead.

Might as well roll for wing gara instead. I would only alpha with Akane, but she frameskips Q~Q I don't like how they look, I think mecha alphas are the way to go .-.

That's assuming you build for 40 tec, leaving fly in the sub 30's?

Depends on the core and what all you're putting in it, I remember Bippu doing a 40/34 tonitrus build at low 1200s in cost with several weapon tunes. - LS3 wrote:

Oh right, wingsluts don't have scarf access. Wow they're shit. - LS3 wrote:

Well there's a variety of reasons to that, I could have the same stats at high 1200s/low 1300s if I let str go negative, for example. It's only 30 higher than a wing moe anyway (30 less than the Akane I usually use, even). Besides, it's not like I don't regularly get nearly double my cost in damage with it :3c EDIT: Then again, cost is pretty more your own preference I guess.

| I want to get a robo alpha myself, but having to get at least 2 gold prizes(and one silver) to build a descent alpha....
Might do that if the next meta isnt as interesting as the current one.
