*Let's see how much I can get done in under 15 minutes

This would go with the Odharnait Warriors thing I was thinking of.
After a brief slideshow showing the story of how the Heroes found out about Odharnait, and how it is under siege by the forces of Chaos, they fly off into space to kick some robotic ass.
This mission would be broken into 5 stages, including one Bonus Stage.

Stage 1: Defense
The Odharnait capitol of Arcem is under attack by legions of Chaos. In this stage, you must fight back waves of robots, while protecting two Shield Generators.
Thankfully the robots focus fire on you when you're in range, so you won't have to chase them down. After destroying 5 Waves of increasing difficulty, a Boss Appears, in the form of an oversized Machine Catapult Mk II, similar to Gultred from Gigan Busters. Blow that up and it's Stage Clear.

Stage 2: Counter Attack
You take to the fields between Arcem and the Chaos base, to destroy the Chaos Surface-to-Orbit Cannons and Radar Towers, allowing the Odharnait army to punch through and hit em where it hurts. Once the 4 Cannons and 3 Radar Towers are destroyed, a squad of 3 Elite Robots appear that you must destroy. Conquer them and another Stage down.

Stage 3: Assault
You assault the Chaos base under cover fire from an Odharnait warship in low orbit. The base itself is protected by a powerful defensive barrier, which must be shut down form the inside. Once you blast open the door, you must take out 4 Shield Generators, and 3 Engineer robots in order to bring down the shield. Not an easy task, considering the hefty amount of base defenses. Once the barrier is down, the Odhar ship will help clean up the large force with its gun.

Bonus: Stage 4: Cash Grab
This stage is unlike other Bonus stages, in that you are awarded UC for each target you destroy. Destroying multiple targets will increase the score multiplier, and the amount of UC you get per kill. The goal is to get the highest amount of UC possible before time runs out. Higher difficulties would increase the number of kills required in order to increase the multiplier. Don;t worry, the maximum possible amount would be around 1000 - 2000UC

Stage 5: Destruction
This stage takes place inside the Chaos base itself, similar to the final mission of Gigan Busters, only it is less like a cave and more of a military base. The base itself is rather tall, with multiple floors and Elevators to take you up to each floor. There are 7 floors in total, each with different enemies. Similar to the First Stage, only you have to go to them. ON the top floor you come face to face with the commander, a Dark painted Centaur X. He sees you, and jumps into a giant robot which becomes the Boss "Wild Cannon", as the roof of the Building opens into a launch platform. The Cannon's primary means of attacking you is the release of dozens of spherical defense drones, sort of like Autogun Bits that fly around and shoot you. It also has a scatter missile attack that it likes to shoot at AIRs. It's feet can also stomp you if you aren't careful. Its main weakness is its legs. Do enough damage to one and the robot will fall over, exposing it's Core, and allowing you to attack. After a short time, it will get back up and begin attacking and moving again. Rinse and Repeat. Once the Wild Cannon is destroyed, you fight Centaur himself, which would be a pretty straight-forward battle, if not for his super sized HP bar and Jet Lance. You win when he's exploded. Afterwards you have the eternal gratitude of the people of Odharnait, and earn a shiny new medal.



So what do you guys think? Would this be cool?
I'm still working on the potential Rewards for completing it on various difficulties.
And some clarification on enemies might be needed.

There would be some new Robots/Enemies that would come with this, aside from the 3 Odharnait Warriors.

Specifically the "Elite Robots" I mentioned.

This one is an Alpha ART type.

Comment: A high tech robot outfitted with an AURA Trans system. Capable of changing between a mobile Assault Mode and stationary Fortress Mode.

HD: Turri T. HD
Anti Missile
Uses a small laser to shoot down incoming missiles. Limited ammo. Activates automatically.

BD: Turri T. BD
AURA Trans Assault Mode/Fortress Mode
Converts WLK and FLY to additional TGH and TEC. Fortress Mode becomes stationary.

BS: Turri T. BS
AURA Trans Weapon
A: Dual launch missiles that fire left and right to flank the target.
F: Dual launch Missiles that fire vertically to strike from above.

AM: Turri T. AM1
AURA Trans Weapon
A: Single Launch homing missile launcher. High power and tracking, but low rate of fire.
F: Double Launch homing missile launcher. High rate of fire, but low tracking.

LG: Turri T. LG
AURA Trans Assault/Fortress Mode
Converts WLK and FLY to additional TGH and TEC. Fortress Mode becomes stationary.

BT: AURA Assault Mode/Fortress Mode

Basically a missile wielding Genbura (Whatever that fort/turtle robot's name is) The Turri Testa is meant to be an experimental new robot encountered in Odharnait Calls For Aid.
It can basically transform into an Anti Air turret. Using AURA trans, it drains points from it's WLK and FLY and adds them to TGH and TEC respectively. A pack of 3 acts as the Boss for Stage 2, and more show up in Stage 5. The missile counter adds a bit of defense to its aggressive design. It's basically made to utilize Alpha Strike.

There could also be a Gatling/Rifle/Machine Gun/Beam version made available later.

Dunno if I should make the parts immovable or not, since they require the AURA trans in order to work.

Hmm, post this on the official forums, but keep your conversation as low-flaming as possible, and always add what can improve CB if this mission would be added.

If you suggest the idea as a sucessfull improvement, the GMs will most likely send the suggestion to the developers, to check if it can be indeed moved foward.

Don't mind my optimism #em2
