| I have noticed something strange about weapons when they are fired with another weapon together. It seems that some guns benefit from an extra shot while alphastriking.
An easy way to test this is by equipping something with a shotgun (Because when I tested it, it didn't gain an extra shot while firing. And plus, it fits on every bot so it works.) and another weapon.
It seems as though weapons that fire a bit slowly have the benefit of this. (although it was a small test, I have tried a shotgun + plasma gun vs. stardust cannon. Turns out the plasma gun benefited not at all from alpha striking while the stardust cannon gained an extra hit.)
I don't know what other weapons would be effected by this, nor do I know if it's worth looking into, but it's a neat thing I found while fighting against haku. (Multi Mega Beam Gun + Custom Shotgun in case you were wondering. MMBG got an extra shot)
I have looked on the forums for this but I couldn't find anything like it.

| I noticed this when my berz killer was a dual-mmbg vector
The MMBGs charged up for slightly longer, but fired four times instead of three

| iirc alpha striking give 1 more clip size for most weapon :/ also their charge time will get slighly longer than longest weapon charge time used on alpha | |

also their charge time will get slighly longer than longest weapon charge time used on alpha actually its the same charge time as the longest weapon charge time, its just that the delay to alpha makes it longer.

| MMBG, Shotguns, and stuff. Usually charge up stuff get good benefits from alpha strike. As, Malphes said some guns fire faster. I feel like Frau AMs are one of those. - Andrax wrote:

| Missiles benefit from alpha striking with Psyguns as the first weapon to fire. The OMFG homing of psyguns lead the missiles.
Like the Psybanger. | |

| Railguns. They fire more than one shot when you alpha strike it together with another gun. Of course you have to wait for that charge time to happen first and your other gun doesn't fire until the charge is full.
Oh wide beam guns and some other normal beam guns benefit from alpha striking. If you use 2 wbgs together your shot comes out the size of a bazooka shot. There's just no dodging it unless they are like at least 250-300 range away. Of course, all you shots should land if you shoot anything less than 200 range away in the first place.
