What you want is a decent laptop with discrete graphics from AMD or Nvidia.

I'd like an Nvidia but I can't find any laptops for sale with those. Would it be easy to take out the processor and replace it with a Nvidia?

Also, are you saying that the laptop with the AMD processor is better than the other one in the first post?

AMD graphics is cheaper than Nvidia. (AMD = ATi, Radeon HD or whatever it is called)

You should aim to get at least a Core i5 and ATi Mobility Radeon HD graphics.
Nvidia is obviously better but you'll need to spend more for it.

My nephew said the first was is better for the money. (Meaning the extra $30 isn't worth it. xD)
He knows more about computer hardware than I do.
(He's about 6 months younger than me.)

If you're running games, you need discrete graphics. Intel graphics doesn't work for you because the most demanding task it can do is play HD movies.

The first one may have value for money, but it doesn't have discrete graphics.
The second one has discrete graphics so it should be able to run most games.

Wait, 21 years old and you're already an Uncle? O_o

I was an uncle before I was born. My sister had a daughter before I was born. But that's getting off topic.

Ok well I'll talk to my nephew tonight. I'll see him at 8 tonight and I'll talk to him then. Thanks for your replies LXE.

I'll be closing this now seeing as I have the information that I need.
