Amateus help

I bought one and wanted to know

Is he good with just AM 2? Do I need to remove it? What things should I add to him?

Actually, remove his AM 2 and place something else on it, maybe a speed-tuned Box Missile. The AM 2's okay, but its generally too slow on the speed, and does not fire regularly enough for its speed to be effective, as compared to its core. You need to think about how you want to build him, and how to fight with him, then the parts will come naturally.

Okay, which arm do I replace his AM2 with?

I replace mine with gathima am (breaker one) range tune, enjoy 425 range/speed dual barelled breaker (maybe can reach near 500 if u do tripe great reach), railgun is a also good choice to for thing that can't be hit by nova misille or sniping, linear is no no cuz u already have good core to take down air, change the legs to shorter one, add one or two shield (if u don't feel good with am alt weapon)lvlup a bit and hop around, i'm bad at hoping, so I tunes mine for fly based and HIGH tgh, eating even most fagiest fags alive, probably xD

one a tip, if u can't pay2gamewarrior, just hop2gamewarrior

Add Mach Knight One HD
Add 2x Greinaut AMs
Add 2x Handy Bazookas
Add Ace Braver LG

this is also viable and common build,
tho I hate alphaing in general and do better with just 2 main and 2 subs, completely act as Anti Air and Anti Art (by snipe them out with breaker, probably break one or two of their box missile ) ,or maybe just becuz i can't both click and right click in same time, my brain just can't handle pressing two mouse button in same time, sometimes even against berze

I bought Amateus from spamming free RT offers

just slap dual buckler if u don't want to spend any rt and HOP, tho grenaut is not that expensive and other part are UC viable if u wanna make alpha build

Try 2x Great Rapid Beta tuned Ballistic launcher(you can get these in UC Gara or Epoch)+Amateus. (parts up to you.)


I don't see these often, but when I do, they're hopping near the enemy spawn area and collecting contribution points.

Up to you whether you want WLK or FLY for hopping.

why ppl keep suggesting HOMMING weapon when not alphaging, even tho core have superb homing after core upgrade, they need more protection (shields) or alternate weapon either range or something to fend of enemies who good againts home/blast weapon

So I wanna focus on fly, I replaced amateus' legs with Brickgale Red's I have 21 Fly now, as for arms, I'll check out one that sells for UC and replace it with his AM 2

by the way, what's a hopper? I'm newish and all so I dont really understand all these terms lol

hopper = something that uses the short boost and (optionally, I think?) quick land cartridges, so they hop instead of dashing. This messes up with the game's auto targeting and homing systems.

u should say this from beginnig, so we can suggest something that relevant/easier
to hop, lvl up a bit and take shoort boost catridge (must), quick land(highly recomended), quick jump(good, but afaik amateus don't have it ), now come to near non melee enemy and once there is incoming attack, double press direction key (u should know where to move and after a while u will find a grasp of sense about it and timing), also spam your main weapon and see u hit them but they can't hit u.
hopping is such an advanced skill, but once u completely master it, u'll be on par with those massive rt spender atleast fags one
