I installed Windows 7 and I haven't been able to run CosmicBreak ever since, and I've been burning my afternoons trying to get it working but the god damn thing just refuses to work! I've been getting black screens, asking the GM's didn't even work and did everything I could but that black screen glitch just gets in my way. I've litterally burnt my afternoon trying to Dual boot XP with Windows 7 and failed miserably, which made it a complete waste of time! I tried virtualisation, but my computer just crashes when it tries to run CosmicBreak, but I did learn one thing.
COSMICBREAK RUNS WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS ON WINDOWS XP
So what should I do to alleviate my boredom, and depression of missing my waifu? (Absolutely no trolling in here please, and no Nisa styled rubbish posting)

| I use windows 7 as well and the only way i can run cosmic break is by starting it in safe mode and waiting for the login screen to appear.
Takes about a minute and it shows program not responding.
once the login screen appears i change it back to fullscreen from the options.
It might work for you......... | |

| For me, the black screen stays forever if i click "start game" instead of "safe mode"
If i click safe mode, it hangs for a minute or 2 until the login screen appears. | |

| played on windows 7 since march this year.
no problems except extreme lag and spikes which is cs's fault thx to all those shit updates. | |

| I waited for 5 minutes and the black screen is still there. I don't even know what the hell is wrong anymore.
Screw you Windows, I'm going to go run Ubuntu 11.4 and Wine HQ with it. |

| Maybe try turning transparency off, or even turning Aero off if you have not tried?  As for me, I personally do not have any problems at all with Win 7. I have my computer for 2 years now and every game that I played works perfectly fine. | |
