I've tried to make this thing work, but I just cant. Is this bot literally the Jaguar Arm of airs, or is there some ancient brd secret trick to making this thing work. Note that I mean either varient of machknight. And dont say "steal his AM's, LG's, and HD, and then sell BD to crim", either.

I would have to say that unless you are on green field, then Mach Knight one is better, but still not that good. His pulsemissles have a force of 14 which I'm sure increase with EIW, but I'm too lazy to check. the homing is slightly better than normal ones, but they ALWAYS come out from the front, so if the are directly below you, chances are they won't hit it Mad. With the regular Mach knight, tune for 40 fly, go on Green field, wait a little bit, then go through the launcher-thing and spam the bombs Razz. That's my best advice.

Well, the Mach Knight family are the only UC air bots that fly without leaning forward, so when given a Mini Zook they can make a decent air superiority bot. However, both subs are anti-ground, and even then hard to aim against ground targets. I'd say One's pulse missiles are somewhat easier to hit with, but those compare unfavorably to beam missiles, such as those carried by a Ghost Raider 117. Unfortunately, your builds are probably just going to be the standard medium air fare; you may be able to use a Mach Knight as a Negatron bot, but they don't stand out in that regard, either. Even with practice, neither of the subweapons are particularly overwhelming, and you'll just ignore them half the time. Also, since neither core possesses a booster slot, that makes building and tuning them that much harder. In the end, they're decent bots, but the only real use I could think of is using them to carry mini zooks to clear out those high-altitude wing-spamming Seraphs.
