I just got slow by a......lazer

In CBJP, a few minute ago.

I dont think i mistake, there only me and a triangle around shooting each other, he used an air bot with lazer wp(the lazer look same as tes's one) and 1~2 second after it hit me, i got slow

Is this a cheat or glitch, or is there any lock-on sub wp which can be tuned slow??

It could be possible that the weapon had a sub-weapon, allowing him to tune slow on it, which may or may not have transferred onto main weapon.

I have a feeling you were just hit by an acid laser and confused the shell drain for slow because the graphics are identical.

Isn't that a bit hard considering it's hard to confuse the slow effect (reduced speed... that's quite noticeable if he moved)?

Tesladonna's arm has both main and sub weapon, and from what I get, you can only tune slow in sub weapons. Does that scenario make that possible?

Btw, I don't play CBJP, and barely tune, so I post to learn about this too.

Don't know, haven't tested, was a hypothesis.

I even not see the icon clearly, my movement's slower.

And it's not tes AM, or even it is, a sub wp and a main wp is totally different.

A few possibilities:

A) an unseen enemy slowed you
B) you hit a slowtrap
C) A laser that actually slows exists

I'm inclined to think it's A), because the person I talked to said acid laser does not drain enemies affected by slow or bind.

Are you sure that a Nicole just didn't hit you from the back at the same time?
