so as i managed to find out what a "slow tune" is in my previous topic i started asking ingame about it and i've noticed that mostly vanguards use it. since i'm at 13 rt with 3 to come from lvling up i don't know if i can really get a vanguard. so i was thinking of simply using a buyable sword or whatever and slow tuning it.
so what do u think, forums, which melee? on what bot? (make that bot uc) and
is it worth it?
do help. do help.

Beside Kamui Staff with have insane range and can put a lot of slow stat if you attack enemy PS, no UC close range weapons are good enough from what I know to use slow.

Vanguards use slow? What are you smoking? They either tune stats or x3 great grapplers.
Ivis, Ouka, Frau legs for slow.

>slow tune >vanguard
Stop talking to whoever you've been talking to.
On-topic, Kamui Staff's probably the best bet. Rapier/Duel Rapier would set slow off a lot thanks to lots of hits, but they're a pain to use and horribly type-restricted.

Vanguards with slow tunes? Rofl that made my day.
At any rate, go Kamui Staff with slow tunes.

Vanguards mostly use them?
lawl
it's viable though, since some of fencer's hit send the targets flying too far away

Sway/Short Boost can both jump on a target fast enough to hit them again before they move in that situation, even if you only have ~25 wlk.

Double tap W.
normal dash will do,but slowing them keeps them in place.

vanguards doesn't have enough combo to take use of the slow...
Ivis can do 8 combo... Vanguar 4-5 but the kickback.... u can miss the combo.
also Ivis combo is too fast, so u have more chance to get the slow tune to work... that is the reason to not use it on Vanguards... (but u can try, making build is what makes this game fun!!!)

I do remember a certain spear, Haken Spear, that has a move near the end that deals several rapid hits. It's a 3-swing combo, first are two regular hits, then third does rapid hits (like 6 quick hits) in one swing. It's a cheap weapon in terms of RT. Possibly a candidate for a slow tune?

still need a few rainbow chips tho.
also any comments on that haken spear? is it good guys? (ik it's rt but if it's cheap i may find a way to buy one.)

Haken Spear is literally Spear + Chainsaw.
If that sounds "Cool but shitty" to you, you're on the right track.

Why not solo instead, search the "haku solo guide" somewhere in forum or on youtube, half of my Kamui staffs is from solo.

That is the guide.
You don't need those bots specifically. Hell, if you really wanted to you could use lv1 beezles. Sperm uses accel sabers because they're great bots that are easy to build, and are able to use both 3way dagger (s-size) and red squealer AM (l-size).

^Anti slow AND Anti burning, so you don't get cockblocked on trap form, which is where most new players get cockblocked on.

well... i only have an ace braver am so far so i'm gonna have to spam arcantus for a while to get red squealer or ace braver arms.
it's gonna be a looooong search
but what if i do this: one of the bots have a 3-way and one of them has a kamui staff or whatever. i know it isn't the same thing but will that do?
