SDC builds

Tunes for 3s sdc
High shooter + great rapid alpha + great rapid beta
High air force + x2 great rapid beta
(Both give the same results)

Tunes for 2s sdc
x2 great rapid beta (More speed with less ammo)
High shooter + great rapid alpha (Less speed with more ammo)
High air force + great rapid beta (Less speed with more ammo)

The minimum requirements for my sdc build are:
-At least 1 str
-At least 1 wlk
-Propeller bit
-34 or 38 fly
-Tengu bs
-2-3s fully tuned sdc
-Base part tec (any extra tec from tuning is just a bonus)
-Float dash
-Quick boost
-Accele roll (not required but makes life much easier)

10th cart and extra capacity for tuning are optional
I'll make it clear first that gwyain is still the best sdc core
Sdc builds are fun so I'll be refurbishing some of mine soon (waiting for 3s sdc)
The play style of these things are simple:
Get to highest ground use tengu bs and spam sdc
Later
Get to highest ground use tengu bs then propeller bit and spam sdc
If you play those things right you'll never miss once and run out of ammo easily before you die
Use simple maneuvers- when you have little boost left accel roll and use tengu bs right after, then follow with a float dash

Wry no High Alpha/Beta?

More efficient & lots of left over slots
High betas? no
You can use high alphas if you're limited to slots though

Actually, its highly inefficient because you only get +1 stat per slot and 5 cost. Herp Derp.
High Alpha and Beta tunes are actually way more efficient.

Here's the uncertainty principle for tuning stats.
Weak Stats --> Cost Efficient --> Battle Inefficient
Strong Stats --> Cost Inefficient --> Battle Efficient.

LOL, LXE, no... it IS efficent because you get +1 stat for 5 cost. It's 7.5 cost for 2 stats on high unless you do alpha, which has side effects, or beta which can only go so far. I was just saying Alpha might get more stats out of the cost, but a SDC is a SDC, and the speed quota has been met, AKA 38 fly using the lowest tunes. You got the fly and the low cost, there we go, if that could be done with every bot it should.

No, what's inefficient is people who think Great Tunes are ever a good idea. 10 cost a stat, herp derp.

I think 38 fly and a SDC is plenty efficient, your last point makes little/no sense. o_o

You shouldn't speak of things you don't know about lxe
High beta reduces str which is needed for prop bit (an important part of sdc builds)
And you won't be using so much tunes to reach 38 fly

What I'm interested in is why you chose to save that much wlk. Faster float dash, or something else?

With a slayer bit or sniping unit? Sure. Hell, you can even get away with 40 tec 0 str on a sniping unit and still have it be usable.

On a prop bit? Dear God no.

^ Is why I was curious when it came to alpha tunes. The WB argument makes perfect sense though, honestly didn't look at what bit you had.

Yeah. I have a 1s SDC tuned with Great rapid beta. It doesn't feel any different from a tuneless sdc ;_;

I'd still max it to 40 TEC even if it isn't, if you can afford to put it on max, why not :3

I've had Propeller Bit on my Thoarla AM3 Geograsis-F before she was fully tuned, it's definitely awesome, but it's not worth sacrificing the amount of damage you would be outputting with 40 TEC, plus you will lose those bits very quickly when anyone clued up start to look at you funny.

Cori doesn't have enough fund to make SDC build when some of Cori's builds are unfinished.

If you're going to screw off using STR for prop bits, why not just tack on a Shaden BS and screw fly tuning altogether.

You can't aim with SDC with shaden BS.
High fly + accele roll is better.
