Vangaurd Axer or Vangaurd Fencer?

I prefer fencer.

VA vs VF: VA win
VA/VF vs other melee fag: VF better
VA/VF vs enemy base: VA better.

VF = Dps + slash arc

I prefer Vanguard.

well . . . if it follow logic . . . sword have greater range than axe, so, Vanguard with axe have a shorter range (maybe a better combo) so, sword Vanguard still have the range advantage if this axe follow logic but, as CB is known for breaking game ballance at a lot of things, I wouldnt be surprised if this axe have greater range than the VF sword (even if the axe is a lot smaller than the sword, the broken system can allow it to hit in long range, far form its combat animation)

lol, an Axe will always hit shorter . . . if u take a long axe, its not the same as a long or broad or great sword, because axes are heavy at one spot of the weapon while swords are heavy but weight is divided through all the weapon so the sword can always have a greater reach because swords can be bigger than axes (less if u`re playing something like D&D where u can carry a load 100 times your weight just because u have STR for it according to the game system so no matter the saize of the axe, u will carry it and swing it with one arm only like if u was handling a paper).

and Great Axes tend to be a big blade (or two) but the wood or metal you hold the weapon isnt that big, or else u wouldnt even move the axe out of the floor and even if u could be able to, u wouldnt be able to swing it.

Lances on the other hand can be even bigger because u dont swing it, u just hold it to the target and wait the target to come to you, or u run with it, just holding it forward, so its much more about reach and holding than weight (yet its weight is divided through all the weapon, not only at one point like an axe) so it can be a lot heavier, so a lot bigger

Also,VA can really take those airs down.

^air don't have to worry about TBG when nailing rambo melees that charge into your team, even less of a problem with all the long range air weapons that's been in circulation.

And VA can only hit something that was lifted off from ground height, anything above that is safe.

You chop down trees with an axe, not a sword.
You hack through shields and armors with an axe, not a sword (you pierce with a thrust).

Bigger punch in an axe, but usually shorter to keep the weapon balanced and not weighting too much on the tip.

I'd say VA, cause VF takes less time to kill. VA can still be much of a bigger threat if he comes chraging right in front of you

Ontopic: Fencer is a better PS troller, but i like Axer for his ability to close in on low flying airs

I'll prefer him over the two when he comes out.

Axer has a horizontal charge that outruns any landbased attempts at kiting it.

Fencer goes ivis on anything in the slash arc.
