K-Sword

I got a Lancerlot-K from SUGOI~garapwn (thx to utok's prize <3)

I finally have a K-shield for my hopper, and a good melee weapon.

I dunno which bot I should put my K-sword on though ._.
So does anyone have a good build for a K-sword? thx (aside from Lancerlot and assault ox, I don't have any other RT LND bots, so I hope the parts will be UC)

Lol, i was wondering what to do with k-sword as well. I have it on red squealer so far.

Hmmm, red squealer punch seems to combo with teh sword but it doesnt work the other way round sadly.

Dae BD, RS AM, K-Sword.
cart step add 50% dam to next combo, but RS BD's stat is not really good.

Hound Dog AM is good too, BoyTT's build, i think. But dont know if it can do as RS AM above.

Yeah, uh, go with Squealer AM if you prefer being CONSTANTLY on someone's ass. The combo works extremely well and can actually be used quite well for anti-air, as I've literally punched and smacked multiple airs out of flight because of the distance that Squealer AM travels and the high damage-stun that K-Sword deals.

As for bot, I think anything that can use the combo is fine, decent TGH stats are a better bonus than WLK or STR though. Reason being, as great as Squealer AM can be, it is a little long in animation before you actually smack them with a K-Sword, meaning more nanseconds for you to be stunned out of your combo and... lose every reason to even use K-Sword.

You could be terrible like me and go with Shino if full-UC.
I think Red Squealer has better natural stats than Shino though.

A small comparation:

str	wlk	tgh	note
10	15	10	Cant change HD, Moe
11	16	11	Doesnt hav BS, manly

There is a HD with +3str, but there isnt any BS like that. But hav BS = hav BSJ = 1 more slot.

To sum up, choose moe or manly

Why not Lancerlot BD? He seems to have naturally high TGH and decent stats. Just change out his LGs and HD and BS.

He's worse than byne, Capa cart only add 50, Byne is 60
He also have 1 less STR and FLY

Lancer BD has low wlk and fly(7-4) which make hard to tune. Mine has only 1 fly left, gonna find some better BD.

Geograsis BD in weekly gara is pretty nice, best stat among lnd bot: 18str-18tgh.

If it's not easy it's not good, the classic western gaming attitude.

Lancer's cost carts suck, but the base capacity is quite high, and that's useful for low level builds.

I only have Lancerlot, Assault OX and UC BD's. I don't have the RT anymore to get Geograsis or Dae. Which BD should I use? @.@

Out of those three, I don't know Assault OX, so I would go with Lancerlot. It doesn't seem like a BD you need to put a lot of work into.

Anyway, here:

Idea is to cart step into battle, then k sword. Hop if the target is kinda close but kinda not because the shoulder tackle hit of k sword has horrid tracking so it helps close the distance. Arc swing as usual. By the way, get used to the cart step start up; it's kind of long so it's hard to not run around without getting stunned.

NOTE****************

This is not perfect; I was planning to modify this build so that the k shield (which is nigh useless with 25 TGH) changes into a RS AM with a viper shield equipped (so that RS punch can then be used instead of K sword after the initial cart step into battle). That way, you can have a good homing first attack which does decent damage, followed up by K Sword arc sauce.

Also, for stat tuning; he's okay on the speed, which you kinda don't need at some point because you have cart step. I find myself using cart step a lot more for getting around. So for my plans, I was going to tune him up to 3X TGH with 3X STR somehow~ I just haven't worked it out yet. Maybe some extra HP because I would really like my only L sized melee bot in my garage so far to have a big chunk of HP. I don't own a Daed BD either because I refuse to roll for one that lacks AM2 (because I'll be rolling for it anyway )

Also, 20 Cart Steps is rather a lot; I usually die before I deplete 15. It's probably the way I play (I suck at melee bots, and even more so with L sized ones) , but either way, probably only 1 enhance internal is enough (I heard it only increases ammo But I guess that's fine). In place of it, I was thinking maybe either boost run or stun regain (if I could get the TGH up some).

If I have time later tonight; if not tomorrow, I'll fine tune it and post my results here. I just got home from work and stuff and..well.. I have a life If you can fine tune my build for me and post it here, I'd <3 you

I tried a Cart-stepping K-sword bot, and it's very hard for me. Killing fatties is fine, but against anything else, I'm screwed ;_;

RS AM+K-sword combo seems to work for me. I'm using a Lancerlot BD right now.

18 wlk. derp. Clearly I am doing something wrong with the parts. What parts should I change? ._.

Part i often use:
LG: Snail - high wlk, fly => high str tune
BS: Gigantinger/Katana Max - +2 str
HD: Squealer HD - +2str or Byne HD if u want better stat.

I think max str will be better than max tgh, since tgh tune will reduce wlk too.

I don't know what you were doing with parts either, lol. Try something like this (forgot what I usually use for LG, sorry ;-

Something about K-sword's swing makes me nervous.

It feels like it never hits anything slightly to your left if K-sword is on your right arm. I remember actually MISSING a few snailbots in practice arena.

Should I really go less than 30 TGH? I seem to get stunned a lot below 30

Anyway...I'm gonna try Suguri's build first, since I don't have a 2 slot Viper shield ._.
